Why do you still eat meat?

Because the elite wanta me to be a vegetarian and i always do the opposite of whatever it is they are pushing

I've been thinking about the realising they were naked thing..I think it's a metaphor for being watched. Realising you're being watched. I know this is a pretty obvious statement, it's just been occurring to me the last couple days.

Now I wonder..is that exactly what happened? Or has the tale been twisted round?

I have thought about it. I am a type 1 diabetic. I really have to limit my sugar and starchy carbs. If I give up meat, there is very little left to eat :(

No I dont..I respect peoples choices on the matter totally..just throwing out there an idea and a hunch I have..

I know what the OP is saying. My beliefs are that we are smart enough to grow plants so why should we have to take life to survive? My only problems are that I am currently underweight and it's hard for me to find things to eat from time to time but I'm working on it. Cheers GLP :)

It sure was,....the moment its not fitting your comfort zone....your brain will start looking for "twists"....but why bother with fact that your diet affects your brain's functions....and vegans top the charts....related to disorders.

THERE'S NOTHING WRONG WITH MEAT.

Think about it. That plains indians at TONS of buffalo. They didn't drop like flies or become unhealthy. They only got that way after they were taken from their natuarla diet of Buffalo, out on reservations and given rations of flour and sugar.

Stick to grassfed beef, organically raised, with no hormones for antibiotics.

Most of those so-called "studies" are done with red meat and PROCESSED meat. And don't use grassfed beef.

I started eating grassfed 7 years ago. I'll NEVER go back to store bough meat. It now tasts gross to me. Besides taht, you can't make steak tartare with store bought meat. And my steak tartare recipe is SO good. I just grind up 40z of a nice lean piece of steak in my meat grinder, add a teaspoon of raw honey (from a local beekeeper) add an ounce of grassfed butter and some cayenne pepper... mmmmmmmm... And good for you!

And for what it's worth, I'm 53. Take no prescription meds. Haven't been sick in many years. And can keep up with and sometimes outdo at my local cross-fit many of the 20 somethings. It's amazing how some fit looking 20 somethings can't do a pullup.

Guess I should have said you sound as if you wanted to convert us, I wasn't clear enough!



So, are meat eating animals not meek as well, or are they not held to the same 'human' standard as inhabitants of a Creator's domain?

Along this same line of thought, how does killing a plant for consumption stack up against an animal? Studies reveal that plants have a type of cognisant awareness (consciousness?), while not like ours, can be proven.

And what if meat is and always was meant to be eaten by humans. It's all just another pick and choose from the Holy Bible. I believe you have every right to not eat meat without condemning your decision. I think you should have FREE WILL to make your own decisions as well. Seems odd that so many religious types don't often pick from that choice in the Book.

Eating plants is no different because they are alive too and there are studies proving it. Think about that next time you eat some fruit and veg! Sure fruit can grow back but the plants still feel the pain and unless your picking it off the ground it still contains their young (seeds).

It is your choice to share your information. There is no right or wrong. If you choose to share knowledge as long as you can face the repercussions that's fine but is it worth it?

If you think telling others not to eat meat is worth your energy then do so.

Trying to use an analogy of a seed growing in soil isn't the same as telling people not to eat meat and there is no guarantee the seed will grow, technically speaking.

You may listen to yourself, but it doesn't mean that anyone else will and most people like to rebel against whatever opposes their beliefs through fear of confrontation and living in denial or simply not understanding.

Many people are in the mind state that it is right to eat meat so it is not wrong, you are at a different state in your mind saying not eating meat is right for you.

The answer to this riddle remains to be seen...

So we had food yes. After the agricultural revolution they aren't needed anymore.

Essene gospel of peace is very cool. I atill love my fish and occasional chicken breast though. But no red meat or pork.

because it taste good and it provides me with nutrition.
