Re: Pointing a Laser, Then seeing a UFO
Ok, so I have no idea how to describe this, but here goes.

Recently we have been seeing a lot of what I will call UFO activity by our place. They look like moving stars that shine bright and dim themselves very quickly. They sometimes do very strange flight patterns, like zigzag or even turn 90 degrees very quickly.

Well since we have been seeing them more frequently, I figured why not shine a laser at them to see if I can get maybe more of a response. Its only a 5mw laser and no I am not pointing it at airplanes etc. So while I started to point the laser at the 2nd UFO we seen on the night, a massive flash occured. This flash was close, not the same size as the moon, but pretty close in brightness. Only lasted about 5 seconds, but I immediately stopped pointing the laser. Was very intense and we were both kind of creeped out to say the least.

Has anyone ever experienced this, or even seen this moving objects in the night sky? Please respond with any info you might have, as this is really a strange thing.

Yes there are videos out there we have seen and can compare too. We are currently working on getting a kick ass camera to provide evidence.

Post your incidents no matter how far fetched you think they are!

Re: Pointing a Laser, Then seeing a UFO
OP here, a little update.

So since we have started this adventure, we have literally seen dozens of these orbs/stars, whatever you want to call them. We were given a telescope for a gift and are in process of learning to hook it up to camera's.

We are wondering if more of you have seen these orbs that zigzag, or fade in and out, and change flight patterns rapidly.

We have contacted MUFON and have done a phone interview. Our sighting, the original one anyways, is now documented.

We would appreciate any other information or feel free to post any videos that you may have taken yourselves.

There is something strange about these, same as the phoenix lights. I hope that we are in process of meeting a new life form.

Yes I see them all the time for the passed 7 years, moving stars that go dim and bright, don't make sound very high up in the sky sometimes they move fast sometimes slow going to try the laser thing thanks. By the way I'm in the greater Vancouver area of BC, what is your location OP?

I see those zig zaggy zoomers all the time when I go to Taos, NM. FYI, all you need are a pair of cheap binoculars to see all kinds of wacky stuff in the sky. I even saw the ISS during the day.

Gonna get a gonzo blue laser to take to Taos next time I go. Gonna see if I can stir up some aliens.

Re: Pointing a Laser, Then seeing a UFO
One time after New Years Eve I was walking back from my friends house up the street and saw two redish orange orbs a helicopters distance from my head criss crossing each other moving in a circular motion then ZOOMING off into the clouds and disappearing very rapidly.

Yup they are probably the exact ones we see as well. I am about three hours north of Toronto. The laser thing is cool, but also be careful. I only used a 5 mW laser. Be careful of pointing near passing aircraft etc. I have heard of people especially in the states getting in shit for it.

Re: Pointing a Laser, Then seeing a UFO
There has been an uptick of UFO's in my area lately (MD/PA). Last year, my one cousin had two sightings, one in June and one in September. Got pics of both, the second one was clear as a bell as he got a good shot with his iPhone as it stopped in mid air so he pulled his truck over and took a photo. Once he took the photo, he said it took off straight up like a bat out of hell.

Then two weekends ago on a Saturday night, one appeared that my brother and his friends saw (at his friend's house). It did weird things in the clouds, spinning lights, different colors, maneuvers, then it dimmed and left. He is still freaked out about it, LOL.

Very cool, I haven't seen any of these spinning lights or different colours too much. But the maneuvers are definitely insane. Post the pics if you can, would be great to see!

Well to be honest, nothing at all may happen. I just happened to try this for curiousities sake and something happened out of the ordinary. A major flash, almost like a gigantic camera from space. Very quick though. Huge flash and disappated very fast. No it wasn't an iridium flare either. Or a plane, or anything of the sort. Keep trying and see what happens, but don't be disappointed if nothing happens at all.

Re: Pointing a Laser, Then seeing a UFO
Be very careful OP. It is a felony if you happen to shine your laser at any aircraft, no matter what your intent. They can pinpoint you. Now that is out of the way, it seems they are attracted to coherent light and respond or interact with laser light. Dr. Steven Greer has used lasers in his interactions with UFO's. I don't think much beyond what you are currently experiencing though. Looking forward to seeing a video from you someday soon!

Pinpoint you my ass! If they can pinpoint you how come they can't find the missing plane, I meam you would think that they can just rewind one of the video tapes (video tape - being sarcastic there) of the flight taking off from satalite imaging archives and watch where the plane went. Duh!
