In the future, when police get a call of armed home invasion in that neighborhood, I hope they just ignore it. I wouldn't go back to that neighborhood and try to help anybody if this is how stupid people in that neighborhood are going to respond. FUCK THAT!!! I hope all their homes get invaded, robbed, and people get injured and killed by the burglars.

After a long day of enforcing the rule of law Officer McTard returns home to his loving wife...

The story got out of control.

Other people were filming, too, from outside the perimeter. But they weren't blasting their music like Leon was.

Both parties, Leon and the cop, contributed to the dogs death.

AND they weren't getting too close to the cops to distract their attention from the crime scene, AND they weren't yelling stupid shit at the cops, AND they weren't walking around with a vicious killer beast, AND they weren't trying to put on a show and stir up trouble...

I don't see how the cops contributed to the dog's death in any way. The dog and his idiot owner did that all by themselves.

the dog jumped out of the car and made a few snaps at the cops. Even the owner was kicking him away. If a dog snapped at me you had better believe that I would have shot that dog. However, the fact the police just walked up to the guy and handcuffed the dude is deplorable.

It would be interesting to see how it pans out in court. Because the dog was just protecting it's master. If it was found that the cops detained and handcuffed unjustly then they could be faced with a sizable lawsuit.

I had the audio down. I was unaware of the music. If it was above the allowable decibel values for the city/county then he was in the wrong. The report of the dog being on a long leash was bull as when the owner was putting the dog in his car he was able to quickly and efficiently pulled him toward the car (within a foot or so)....

It looks like the police saw the video and made a report on it...

Really?! Wow the dog could of easily be put back into the car. It wasn't hostile until the cop purposely tried to make it bite him which is what it looks like.

Could of undid the guys handcuffs and let him put his dog back, there were many ways the cop could of put the dog back in the car.

Read the comments. That Facebook post isn't so positive. They really will take some heat for this. The suspect didn't resist. I'd have unruffled him and let him put his dog back. They serve us, and above all else, some day that man will be judged for terminating an innocent dog.

No they can't. That's against police procedure and a BIG no-no for all police everywhere, both civilian and military. You NEVER release a suspect until he's been properly processed. Cops can lose their jobs for doing that.

I just get fucking angry looking at this. I was in similar situations and dogs do react very well to pepperspray. There was no fucking need to shoot it. Noones life was really in danger there.
