5-13 One of the angels asking how long it should be to the end of these wonders, a solemn reply is made, that it would be for a time, times, and a half, the period mentioned ch. #7:25|, and in the Revelation. It signifies 1260 prophetic days or years, beginning from the time when the power of the holy people should be scattered. The imposture of Mohammed, and the papal usurpation, began about the same time; and these were a twofold attack upon the church of God. But all will end well at last. All opposing rule, principality, and power, shall be put down, and holiness and love will triumph, and be in honour, to eternity. The end, this end, shall come. And it ought to be the great care and concern of every one of us to secure this. Then we may well be content with our present lot, and welcome the will of God. Believers are happy at all times; they rest in God by faith now, and a rest is reserved for them in heaven at last.

The issue is cost. Unemployed people simply can't afford so-called "health insurance". We need to go back to a reasonable pay as you go healthcare system. I cannot believe that I am going to actually be fined next year for not buying something I can't afford. You know that thing called "the singularity"? Well, we haven't reached that yet. But we have reached The Ridiculosity.

There are quite a few reports of people being denied cover for silly thing, and in some cases you have to pay more for pre-existing conditions.

In NZ you are covered no questions asked no matter how you got injured and you are covered regardless of any pre existing condition and you don't need to pay extra if so.

Will this address those problems, or is it just a scam to make it compulsory to have insurance, but you are still not guaranteed to get covered as the main goal of the insurance company is profit.

Sorry for the silly questions, but trying to find straight info about the bill online is hard, nearly every site has a different idea on how it works, Just hoping for some GLP input.

I found this that may apply in your situation-it seems the hinging point in the bill is if your employer has 50 or more employers.
The law is complicated, but essentially companies with 50 or more full-time workers are required to offer coverage that meets certain basic standards and costs no more than 9.5 percent of an employee’s income. Failure to do so means fines for the employer. (Full-time work is defined as 30 or more hours a week, on average.)
