I'm a conservative white American born and raised in the south and IMO ...this is what Paula Deen is

she's a racist and she doesn't know it ...which is sad

that doesn't mean that I think that Jesse Jackson, Al Sharton and spike isn't ...they are racist too ....infact the entire Liberal agenda is based upon racism but that doesn't mean that Paula Deen isn't racist

I could not give a shit less about Paula Deen. SHE is not the issue. The issue is I am sick of racist black people getting away with their racist bullshit (directed at whites) while white people would be raked over the coals and are for the same shit. I am tired of the double standards in this country. If blacks feel it is acceptable to call each other and others races the word that Deen is being vilified for then the rest of us, regardless of race, should be able to call them that as well and nobody should bat an eye.

And I am also sick of the bullshit that only whites can be racist. BULLSHIT. The fallacy in that stems from the fact that you can only be racist if you have power. That shit may have flown 50+ years ago, only whites can be racist since only whites have power, but blacks and hispanics have WAY more power in this country than whites do anymore and they (blacks and hispanics) are the most racist people of all.

Non hispanic whites are the minority in some places now and they certainly no longer hold all the cards. This lunacy and every race except for whites getting pass needs to end.

Just like all other races can self segregate and promote their "culture" except for whites and it's bullshit. Whites should be able to have all white whatever just like blacks and hispanics do. NAACP, Lulac, National Hispanic Business Group, ALPFA, National Association of Black Accountants and I could go on and on. Just google black or hispanic and fill in the blank with whatever you want like business org, scholarships, etc.

These people (blacks and hispanics) wanted equality and desegreation so they need to not be allowed to have any organization that caters to their race or ethnic groups. Affirmative action based on race also needs to be done away with unless it is non hispanic whites that it gives the advantage to. The races that were minorities in the past are no longer repressed on lagging behind (if they are it's because of their own lazy asses and stupidity) and all the special privileges that are given to them needs to be cut off.

Umm you don't need to sue a store that has not caused you personal damages. I would recommend not shopping there. In that respect, I beat them by a year or two before Paula Deen. I can recommend that for anyone - local is always better unless you demand lights in your kid's sneakers.

That's a hard question to answer. I'm a pretty hardline anarcho/libertarian so from a platform stance, I want no preferential treatment at all (which I believe you agree with). Of course my ideals require that people give up notions of superiority which is slightly eutopian and naive.

Who out there has never said one solitary racist thing in their entire life? I highly doubt that any of the people screaming for Paula Dean's blood have never said something that would offend another person.

Lets put it on the table, then. Anybody who uses a racist term, regardless of race, should be dropped by stores and publishers. Either that, or nobody should. I am also libertarian leaning. I think it is wrong to enslave any human in any form. This includes taxation. I feel that all humans should be treated equally under the law and that nobody deserves special privileges based on race or anything else. In my humble opinion individuals should have rights and not groups. I do not however believe that all humans are equal in the sense that we are all the same. Each and every person has some skill(s) or talent(s) that they can excel at. Some people are great at mathematics, some are gifted artists, some are great speakers, some have amazing physical strength, and I could go on and on. No two people have same exact same strengths and talents, not even identical twins, therefore we are not all equal in that sense since we are all different. We are all equal in the sense that we are humans though and each person deserves to be treated with human dignity.

I am all for treating people equally and for desegregation if that is what people choose. I do feel that it is hypocritical for certain groups to be given a pass to segregate themselves when other groups are chastised for it though. That is not equality.

My issue is not with race but with philosophy I guess you could say. If I were going to segregate myself it would not be based on race but on outlook. I do not want to live around people who wish to force their brand of tyranny off on me (this pretty much covers people who buy the fake left/right paradigm propaganda hook, line an sinker.) I really don't care what others do as long as they don't ge special privileges and as long as what they do has no impact on me and they do not try and force whatever they do or believe off on me.
