I believe this is a cultural matter, but the majority of blacks in the junior college I attended didn't act this way. I think it depends on the geographical area and the environment they are brought up in.

You spend 5 minutes near these morons and you get zapped out of your head. They scream, shout, walk like they eat a fork, they dress like bitche's, they act like 50 cent, they wear necklaces, they're always trying to show up "I am here"... I mean, what a bunch of idiot apes.

At some level, my students understand the same thing. One day I asked the bored, black faces staring back at me. “What would happen if all the white people in America disappeared tomorrow?”

“We screwed,” a young, pitch-black boy screamed back. The rest of the blacks laughed.

College students have self-selected to a higher path. High school students are in school because of the law that requires them to be there, hence a captive audience of the entire gene pool.

The US psyche is not racist, most folks are tolerant and open.
Nevertheless I agree this item is contrived and IMO a phony.

I lived in a mostly black area in Texas for several years. Though I knew how to avoid conflict of confrontation, I have also noticed the disdain that mexicans and blacks have for each other. The hispanic coworkers always talked crap about the black people, calling them dirty and lazy. The black people hated them back for similar reasons- I found it strange but the only reason I can guess is that they take each others jobs.

I can tell you what works if you are truly uncomfortable in these situations: WHITE FLIGHT

I moved north and now live in an area with mostly white people and life is good. I can leave things in the yard, leave doors unlocked and not worry about getting robbed anymore- it is sad but true.

Conservatives are fading into history, I enjoy it here for that reason

The blck man is capable od a love that exceeds the love of any other man of any other race, almost to a fault.
These sort of stereotypes that indicate that black men are of incapable of tenderness, sensitivity, etc. have been floating around since slavery was legal.

And to say the article is well written and then suggest he isn't a good teacher - you contradicted yourself. He is clearly well spoken, educated and patient with his students. If you read the article (objectively), its obvious that he DOES care about educating his students


Btw, perhaps if the black students worked a little harder at school, they could become teachers themselves and teach their people the way they need...which no one seems to know what that "special" way of teaching black students is.

I live in a predominantly black area, the high school my son went to because of this was almost all black.

The teacher wanted the students to do a paper on Malcom X. My son did his paper and turned it in. The next day the teacher picked up my son's assignment and showed the rest of the class that he had gotten an A.

The teacher was black and very angry at the other students. She wanted to know why the one white kid in the class was the only one bothered to turn in the paper that was assigned.

I felt very badly for the teens in that school that wanted to learn. There were lock downs almost daily, gangs, drug dealing, you get the picture.

The principal and other school authorities did not care, I had gone to the school on numerous occasions with complaints. Before entering the bldg. there are metal detectors and each and every person walking through that door gets a pat down. Considering that there are over 2,000 students in the school this is time consuming.

It didn't stop the students from getting guns into the school. I finally pulled my son out in his senior year, he got his GED and is attending college.

I live not far from the school so the students pass my building every day after school...you wouldn't believe the amount of fighting. I once saw a bunch of girls push another girl in front of a moving car then laugh about it.

I think this essay is spot on. I don't think of myself as a racist. But it can't be denied that a large number of black youths are nothing but trouble. I see it on a daily basis....

I also see really nice, civil, and intelligent young blacks but unfortunately they are in the minority and picked on.

If they try and learn, they are picked on. I have never been to a mostly black school, but I went to a mostly mexican school once, and you were relentlessly picked on if you did any school work.

They would say stuff like" oh look at the school girl doing his work" etc etc. The school I went to that was about half and half, blacks and whites, it was the same thing with the blacks. They tease those who try, to the point where no one tries...

Anyone who thinks this is racist bullshit did not go to school in Marietta Georgia.

I, fortunately, had already graduated when my Dad took a job in Marietta, but my siblings moved with my parents.

In order to avoid violent attacks, my siblings had to follow the "black" dress code, wear the right shoes, size 44 pants when my brother only weighed 140 pounds soaking wet, and my blonde sister was in cornrows. They had to act and talk "black" and listen only to the right music and they could only do so well in school before they were harassed for their good grades.

If they did not follow this protocol, the tormenting and violence was astronomically bad, like death threat bad. IF YOU HAVE NOT LIVED IT, YOU WILL NOT UNDERSTAND.

That is correct! I saw a gang of guys picking on a lone kid with a back pack, you could see he was a bit of a nerd. I yelled at them from my window to leave him alone. They turned their attention towards me so the kid had enough time to get away.

It is really sad.

He isn't a very good teacher, he seems like a poor choice for those students.



Those Student's would act the same!!!! Asian Teacher.. Black Teacher... A Grey Teacher.... U would get the same result's!!!
