i have felt buoyed at times and feel he put my kitties in my life to keep me going. definitely felt God's protective warmth and assurance once - very distinctly.

but, can you imagine what He carries on His shoulders? all of our physical and emotional pain. He burdens Himself greatly then. i feel badly for it all...this was the fall ... humans are responsible for happening. :(

m&m is right

I worked, and worked hard and long all my life, now retired He has put me to work for Him, because no one wants me now.

He gave me all these kitties to breed for Him and me for when i go home.

But here is the mean part:

Out of every year's litter, He always takes the very best for Himself, and breaks my heart and spirit . . . testing/strengthening, testing/strengthening, testing/strengthening, testing/strengthening

God also knows all, but does He actually feel it, too? and thoughts or opinions on this?

can you imagine the burden we place on him when we are ill? perhaps that is why we are supposed to keep our bodies as "temples."

also, how disgusted God must get regarding LGBT stuff...He sees all that shit...literally....and the "strap ons" and other deviant things. no wonder God stated homosexual choosing (male or female) was and still is an abomination.

Re: 01010
When I went through the darkest painful time which actually some days the pain became physical as well , like broken glass inside,
the Lord's presence became closer than at any other time in my life . This was after my child was killed in an accident by a drunk driver . At first I could not sense Him . I felt like , where are you , how could you let this happen to someone who tries to follow you ?
As I called on Him, His presence became amazingly tangible with miraculous signs that my son was with Him . Also whenever I was a weeping heap on the floor then if I would call on Him , an inexplicable peace would descend . He literally carried me through an experience that made me not want to live at time , if you knew the details you might understand .
When life is going well , its easy to put everything but Him first. I had to learn the hard way when all the former things that bring us comfort whether it is food , people , books , drink , you name it , NOTHING , none of these mean anything . THE only comfort for the pain was YESHUA or whatever your call Him in your heart .
He is there, He does see your pain . I love the reference where it says," He wept" when Lazarus died .
He will never force His way on you , you must call on Him .
It is the clouds in our life that teach us to walk by faith .

Even Mother Earth feels our pain and responds violently to our violence:

Genesis: This shows our corruption causes violence in Mother Earth:

11The earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence.

12And God looked upon the earth, and, behold, it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth.

13And God said unto Noah, The end of all flesh is come before me; for the earth is filled with violence through them; and, behold, I will destroy them with the earth.

I was intrigued by this question, right up until that last part about the whole "abomination" stuff.

I can say that the God I pray to is far above petty human prejudice and judgment like that. I think different people pray to different conceptions of God, and I gave that one up a long time ago.

Hopefully someday, you and the others who pray to that conception will too so we can get on with some real transcendance.

Does God feel our pain? I believe in some respect, yes. And all of the hatred, judgment, and name-calling only causes more. Would Jesus have condemned the LGBT's? I don't think so. So why should you or anyone else?

Let him who hath not sin cast the first stone.

(Bible thumpers always seem to have a REALLY hard time with that one...)

I believe God experienced man's physical and emotional plight through Jesus. At that time He felt all in the physical sense on this physical plain. I agree with you. God views all this abomination committed on this Earth, the torture, the murder, the abuse, the pedophilia, the hate..all of it. Being God is not an easy task by any means. We are created in His image, physically and emotionally..he feels what we feel 24/7. Something only God could endure.

I think this is a perfect example of a false analogy, don't you? It presumes that if there is a God, it has no consciousness, which seems a little contrary to what God must be if we accept there is one.
