The sound of the jet engines was startling! We have WAY too many flights from all directions crossing this airspace, it's not a matter of if...... Quoting: Tacmed0 5048113 I completely agree, I watch the aviation business very closely ! I'm telling you right now world? It is in serious trouble! |

Do you know how long it takes to cover one mile at 300 knots? About 2 minutes.......... Quoting: GT500 About 12 seconds, Alex. Alex? What ever......... Ah...yeah. 60mph is 1 mile per minute. I am a pilot and we get TCAS alerts often and need to change our vertical flight path occasionally to avoid a conflict. It appears to me that the pilot over-reacted to the RA (Resolution Advisory). The RA never needs to be violent and should be carried out in a smooth manner. |
