Crazy Harriet User ID: 36677216 Japan 07/03/2013 03:02 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Bush is a modest man, although he has a Harvard MBA, and from his family experience has grown up in the company of heads of state around the world. Like many, he heard the affairs of state around the dinner table, and probably understands them in that unique way. He is self-deprecating and knows his limits. He was in a vise as president. No president is his own man, and we have reason to believe that W didn't want the job but had to do it for many reasons, mostly familial commitments made by his Dad. I'd enjoy talking with him over dinner. Obama is also in a vise, and has Harvard creds. He is not a modest man, and doesn't know his limits. He apparently coveted the presidency, although he hadn't created the necessary social network as Senator within and without DC and has an obvious lack of diplomatic and bargaining skills. He is ignorant of historical understanding, relying on a short list of worn out slogans and cliches to substitute for depth of reasoning, and using brutal warlord tactics to bully both supporters and opponents. My main dislike of him arises from his open duplicity, such as saying "I am one of you" in the mosque in Turkey, in a foreign language to ensure few Americans but other Moslems might think he shared their common bond. Like the husband with a secret mistress, everyone can know but us, what he is really about, and they are careful not to tip us off as to his real intentions and misdeeds. Yet is is just as likely he is lying to all of them, too. It's rather like having the great imposter (good movie, BTW) in the presidency pretending only to us to be our caring president but to the ROW having a laugh at bitch slapping us with his cruel and heartless policies, such as the regulations strangling business, and TSA insults destroying our tourism, even for schooling, at every turn. I'd pass on a chance to meet him. What would be the point? "I would rather take a political risk in pursuit of peace, than risk peace in pursuit of politics." - Donald Trump |

Bush; I think, he would tell better jokes and after 5 or 6 beers he start telling lies, then you of course would know he's lying too and he would know that he's lying and all that together would be funny as hell. Now on the other hand, Barack, his jokes and lies would be very intellectual and clean...but boring too...LOL Quoting: Anonymous Coward 42324625 I would much rather have a beer with Bush then with Obama. With Bush, I might be able to actually drink the beer. If it is with Obama, I would be throwing the beer and bottle at him, just for showing up uninvited. |
