Are mexican really related to american indians
Are Mexican really related to American indians meaning those Indians who once lived in what is now considered America migrated and became the Olmecs, Incas, Myans, Tultecs, and Aztecs? should they be put into Mexican reservations like the American indians? who should the American indians be given the all the privileges of the Mexicans? whats your take on this?

There is no Aztec nation, like there is a Cherokee Nation, Seminole Nation, Iroquois Nation, etc so on. No reservations, no tribal councils, no cultural ties to current day people, thankfully no one carrying out old rituals. :) The civilizations of the Olmecs, Incas, Myans, Tultecs, and Aztecs have always fascinated me. The Aztecs to a lesser extent because they were so heavy into human sacrifice, sacrificing 500 or more people per day, and when times were "too" peaceful and there was no war going on to get prisoners to sacrifice, they would have games between rival "towns", with clubs used to render "participants" unconscious, but not kill them, thanks to the absence of spikes or obsidian blades, so they could be "captured" and sacrificed in the coming days. The "dedication" of Aztec "temples" (pyramids) would frequently involved the sacrifice of at least 1,000 live humans in a days, so the steps literally flowed with blood.

Re: Are mexican really related to american indians
Southern Mexican Indians are either Mayan, Aztec or from an ancient indian tribe called "Mexica".

The brown Mexicans you see here are mostly Aztec and Mayan.

Mestizos are indian and white mix [bi-racial]the further north you get, the more caucasian they are [up to 90% white].

But the Indian groups are all related from Alaska all the way down to the tip of Argentina.

Probably originating in China/mongolia.

They aren't related.

I wouldn't have a problem with illegals per se. But they can't stand on their own, they cannot take care of themselves. They demand having the public teat.

We don't need all these freeloaders.

Mexicans are approximately 1/4 Indian and 3/4 quarters Spanish -- European Spain. Catholic Spanish from Europe. Intermingled with South American Indians, and English speakers.

It's realy sad to see, the lack of education that abounds in this forum.
Mexicans or Mestizos are "The Cosmic Race". The true mixing of the RAZA.
Starting with the peoples that originated in this Land, and followed
by all the Europeans that "discovered"
this "Continent". Yes they where here
before, but, there is NO LAND owned by
ANY RACE. This concept was brought here
by the European culture...And it's
WRONG...

Re: Are mexican really related to american indians
Most of them have African blood as well from the thousands of people that were sent there during the slave trade. Little publicized fact about Mexico (just like Argentina). Also, some of the African blood in Mexico pre-dates the slave trade. So, in essence, they are all mixed up -- just like most Americans.

Re: Are mexican really related to american indians
Most of today's Mexicans are descended from Spaniards who conquered and enslaved the Native Americans, as they enslaved blacks, also.

Mexicans have no rights to the U.S. OR Mexico.

They need to go the hell back to Spain.

The illegals in this country are just ASSHOLE moochers.

Re: Are mexican really related to american indians
so if a NWO comes about and all the land seems like it is yours but some one is in control of the land some form of governmen t then it will be the same thing since a government still controls the lands. i tend to believe that what ever land i stand on and house myself on is my land and personal space any one in a eyes distance intruding in my space is trespassing if i pitch my tent somewhere eles then that area also is my land but the spot i no longer reside and have given up to pitch my tent some where eles is not my land and some one eles is free to take it

even the indians would not allow other indians to trespass on "their" land area they pitched their tents and "their" hunting area. that proves there was some form of imaginary border even before all the influence from other europens

Re: Are mexican really related to american indians
indian people of Mexico are treated like
shit by mexicans there and are looked down
upon as animals. The military is constantly
fighting with 'rebels' in the Southern quarters. Mainstream mexicans are largely
European and distance themselves from their
'native' roots. The insurge of illegal aleins from mexico are largely unwanted by
the population and by Fox which creates the problem in the first place.
latinos are looking to create a 'Palestine"
of their own here and the US seems all too
willing. Here they can get what they cannot in Mexico, health care, welfare, and guns.

Of course we are that is why we are the native, indigenous people of America.

Further, we were never given reservations or reparations.

May 1st this will all change.

Re: Are mexican really related to american indians
Mexico came under Spanish rule for three centuries before achieving independence early in the 19th century. A devaluation of the peso in late 1994 threw Mexico into economic turmoil, triggering the worst recession in over half a century. The nation continues to make an impressive recovery although ongoing economic and social concerns include low real wages, underemployment for a large segment of the population, inequitable income distribution, and few advancement opportunities for the largely Amerindian population in the impoverished southern states.

Mexico has several Ethnic groups:
mestizo (Amerindian-Spanish) about 60%, Amerindian or predominantly Amerindian are 30%, white 9% and other are bout 1%
Man 2.0
