I'm sure lanterns are out tonight but I know what these look like and what OP speaks of as others do here, are NOT CCHINEESE LANTERNS!!! Seriously!

OP did it stop near the end of the video or am i just seeing things?

No it was not a plane or fireworks or a damn chinese lantern! This thing was moving FAST and in a straight line across the sky

When did they start putting jet engines on those things??

i know the video shows them flashing but these were not flashing. it was solid light. possibly the shaky camera caused the flashing?
either way they still were nowhere near lanterns.

just seeing things. it flew behind the house. i wish i caught the one before though because that one vanished while in flight.

for anyone who might doubt this. just look up more often in your daily lives. there's a lot out there to see.

Seen five red orbs in Buffalo. Some moving at good speed. Three of them seemed to triangulate near the airport. One of the three was moving west to east, and the other two appeared to be hovering at different altitudes. Two others were moving in formation south to north, east of city limits. While watching these two flyers I looked down for a second and when I looked up, they were gone. No way were they airplanes (too close together, no white flashers), fireworks (too high and they appeared for a much longer time), nor lanterns (movement speed not consistent with floating on the wind).

Omg no way, I knew that was something. I thought it was a plane but it wasn't moving at all, then it vanished. And it wasn't a firework fireworks don't hover for 5 minutes or more.

They were scanning the US, and said WHAT THE PROBE? Why is there no population there? Where have all the car companies gone? Why are there no lights in the city like everywhere else in the US?

Either that or they are scanning for real estate at knock-down prices...

I saw them and took a video. I don't know how to embed or upload it here but check under channel Wisconsin survivor and video name is lights over western suburbs of Chicago. I've been seeing these lights for years now. This time there was 2 but there have been as much as 10. They always start out as red slow moving lights and move very speratically and always disappear after a few minuets.

[link to youtu.be] here is the video I took from Elgin IL. It's so quiet now and I can hear morning birds chearping already. I don't know what's going on but these things have been coming around for years.

Sounds like all attempts of shooting down this UFO was thwarted, but then again Chicago dwellers are not known to hit the target very well.
