That doesn't appear to be a Killer Whale to me.

I think that's a Harbour Porpoise, and they're fairly common in the area (the water of course) it was found. They're not very big, about 4 to 6 feet long and weigh just over 100lbs, which would make it much easier to "do" to it whatever had been done to this one. I think some bastard thought this would be funny. And some other bastard took a photo and cropped it, made up a good alien story and awaaaay we go....
