Yup. It's just something you pick up on after being through a few quakes, and it's 'common knowledge' about 'earthquake weather' out there.

I moved to Maine 14 years ago. We had a pretty decent quake last October. No discernible 'earthquake' weather.

hannah 50, I'm in Ca.,too. And have often observed that stillness before a quake..And the light is different..seems tinted an orange/yellow. Looks and feels odd.
