This life is just a shabby little way-station between one meaningless deatination and another.

It's just a fly-blown, piss-riddled little waiting room. Like a shitty little bus-station in the middle of nowhere. That's why everything feels so tatty, broken-down, and worn out.

We are like travelers on some cut-rate bus line who have debarked for a little while to wait for the next bus. We just scuffle along the cheap linoleum floor, sit in grimy plastic seats, and buy unhealthy snacks that make us fart too much from the vending machine. Then we move on when the next bus comes. To take us to some other nondescript mid-sized city where nothing interesting ever happens either.
