I threw some diatomaceous earth down and it seems to have helped. Honestly I'm usually a pacifist with ants and insects but once they bug my crops my mercy wanes. I don't want to kill them but I also want my plants to live. It's sort of a moral conundrum as I feast on my burger thinking myself no different than an ant or any form of life. I hope I don't get squashed one day, but if I do I'll take it in stride as I breath my last breath. So it goes.
