THE INQUISADOR User ID: 1375283 United States 07/09/2013 11:17 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Where are all the flippin butterflies??? I have been raising monarch butterflies for a couple years. I live in Cleveland, Ohio and I have not seen 1 this year. I don't know what is going on but I have not even seen any swallowtail butterflies or any of the common ones. This goes way beyond bees disappearing...it seems like everything else is also slowly going poof. Has anyone else seen this? If this continues long term I have a very bleak view of the future and it has nothing to do with doom dates...it has to do with science and the dying of all plants. |

Surprisingly, I have yet to see a June bug either. Usually the June bugs start becoming a nuisance right around mid-May. I wonder if its the late spring we had this year or something more sinister. |

Its like they believe a bug cannot provide any benefit to the big important humans and money is much more important. |

In the summer there were loads of bees and lovely butterflies. Despite it being 29 degrees today I still haven't seen a single bee or butterfly. No bugs or ladybirds either. The food chain's disappearing! |

Anonymous Bugman User ID: 43078753 Australia 07/09/2013 12:07 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | This reminds me of the time my friend was talking about the disappearing bee's and commented that he never see's butterflies anymore. I told him I see them all the time and he didn't believe me and I was able to point out several butterflies to him in under a minute tops. I literally see them every single day and plenty of bee's too and other things like dragonflies, ladybugs and even rainbows more often than other people. I don't know why and it's strange because I know about the disappearing bees yet I see them all the time while other people don't. |
