Pretty good speaker, it doesn't take a genius to figure out that communism sucks. Does everyone on here really believe that the economy is doing fine? Have you talked to anyone who has just graduated college and are trying to establish themselves? I'm no economist, but from what I understand is that in order to keep the economy from dying they had to start pumping tons of money into the economy from the Fed. They were originally going to have to do this once or twice, now 5 years later they are still pumping even more money into the economy.

The democrats themselves have been admitting lately that the affordable health care act is going to fuck some major shit up. Barack Obama himself has put off the date that certain parts will be implemented.

NNothing got fixed with wall street either no one went to jail, nothing really was fixed, the only difference is now the government is just throwing money at the bankers and the traders.

Native American Indian tribes were completely socialistic and communistic. It worked for them. And has worked for many other peoples throughout the world.

But it can NOT WORK NOW because this kind of society cannot be successful when there are millions of people involved. It can only work in smaller doses. That is the problem with their Utopia.

Good point I was about to go off, then I read the rest of your post, and it was exactly what I was gonna say. Even now you have hippie communes and such that work today. Maybe that will be the next evolution is where people keep a govenment that is run with a constitution and bill of rights and a capitalist society, but on a local level many choose voluntarily to live more like tribes or in a commune type community. That's the way I would like to see it. One thing is for sure commies should not be in govenment.

Not really. The indian tribes weren't "completely socialistic". Women who lost their husbands were done for. Some indians were richer. They had more horses or wampum or whatever. They were a tribal society not communist, there is a difference.

None of the commune experiments have ever worked for very long.

A comment from a forum- That was my conclusion too. Share and share alike works great if you have nothing to share and no intention of getting off your ass to do anything. It doesn't work so well for those doing all the work so that there is something to share. Getting stoned while watching pot plants grow isn't exactly work. The worst part was how they didn't educate their kids in the name of letting them 'find themselves'.

The small scale Jamestown/plymouth?? experiment in socialism didn't work either. The pilgrims nearly starved to death until they went back to private property and individuals working for themselves.
