At the end he looks like he's turning around for another run. I hope it worked for him.

It was probably burning toward his home and/or outbuildings, or a neighbors home. This video is a great example of a man trying to take care of his own business and not sitting on his ass whining and asking when the gubmint is going to arrive to "help" him.

It is a wheat field. Yes the wheat has been harvested, but not the straw. I'd estimate 1000's if not 10s of thousands of $ already burned up.

look again, nothing has been harvested yet. the tire tracks are from planting. it is not wheat harvest season yet. so how could they have harvested wheat that is not ripe. and when they harvest wheat they cut down to about two or three inches from the ground. they take the wheat and spread the chaff. I have worked in rice and wheat harvests and this wheat is to small and young to be harvested.

I thought wheat went through a 2-stage harvest....the tops for the grain, then second Stage just like grass/hay for straw....at least thats how they do it in Oregon....and up there they've probably gone through first harvest this season already.

Maybe his next field or the farmers field or the animals? The ranchers in this area are very close. I know I have family there and have cooked for the harvesters.
