Those who advocate that the 2nd amendment allows law abiding citizens to own any "arms" also should respect laws on the books, even if they do not like them. DC has laws and Kokesh clearly violated the law. DC law enforcement is enforcing the law. Kokesh knew this would happen, and he's decided to make a sacrifice to make a point. However, at the end of the day -- like it or not -- he knowingly broke a DC law. If you stand for the enforcement of the 2nd amendment because it's the law, they you also have to stand for the enforcement of the DC law, whether you like it or not.
