Why Haven't Space Aliens Ever Colonized Earth?
Humans have completly evolved on earth from microbes on up.
This evolution took 5 billions years and humans only appeared during the last million year.
Now I presume it would be unethical for aliens to colonized a planet already inhabited by (presumably) sentient beings.

If for example Mars or Venus could be habitable then for sure humans would be colonizing them right now.

But why haven't the aliens colonized earth for all the billions of years where we weren't around?

Isn't that a logical proof that aliens while they probably exist haven't colonized us because interstellar distances are just too great?

Earth was visited and colonized several times...however it had a unique system of deadman switches to protect it against complete depopulation and exploitation.

Call it Divine Providence if you like.

Or they are spiritually evolved and understand the true meaning of life and allow us to grow and evolve spiritually within our own free will.

Before homo sapiens were on this planet, the children of the spirits were on this planet. Homo sapiens have basically rebeled against the spirits and the children of the spirits.

Distance is not the factor.

Re: Why Haven't Space Aliens Ever Colonized Earth?
I remember from a documentary that a particular race had technology that uses gravity to create a cavity in the Earth as a temporary base, that would collapse when deactivated.
Besides this maybe they have, maybe they can survey us by many invisible means. There are probably other races like humans and like in the sense they may have been bioengineered. If we were created by aliens, they left us to continue on our planet.

They did colonize earth. It's called humans. Evolution isn't what you think. Our development was tampered with, spliced, and made to have a quantum leap.

It all began when God's uncle was shot down by a moon by a bunch of intelligent sea cucumbers...the rest is history

1 - E.T's cannot interact with a developing planet (there are some exceptions though)

2 - bacteria came from outer space on astroids/meteorites and crashed into earth and then started to evolutionize because earth is habitable.
