WHEN WE MANAGE TO REACH ANOTHER EARTH-LIKE PLANET WILL THE ASTRONAUTS BE THEIR GODS?

Imagine in the near future we can travel to the nearest Earth like planet inhabited by primitive humanoids.
when they see us arrive in spaceships, would they think we are gods?
what is we set up labs for genetic manipulation and in vitro creation of hybrids ...maybe experimenting with different facial shapes to create different races on different spots of that planet.
would the new creations think we are gods?

what if maybe the astronauts after a while split up and colonize different continents of that planet so they can become gods of their own continent?

do you think we should keep them totally ignorant and primitive like Adam and Eve were? with no housing, no clothing, no electricity, no hot water, no transportation, no medical care??


or should we be kinder and loving and benevolent gods and teach them our knowledge and start them off improving their miserable living standards? unlike the god of the bible who was a cruel and malevolent dictator?
