"@911BUFF: BREAKING NEWS: BOSTON POLICE OFFICER ARRESTED AFTER MULTIPLE BOMBS AND EXPLOSIVES FOUND IN HIS HOME. CBS. #911BUFF

[link to www.boston.com]

PLYMOUTH - Boston Police Officer Kirk D. Merricks has been charged with stealing military-grade explosives and storing them on the grounds of a single family home on Paddington Way where he formerly lived with his now estranged wife, officials said today.

Merricks is scheduled to be arraigned in Plymouth District Court today on 11 counts of illegal possession of explosives, four counts of receiving stolen property, and one count of possession of ammunition, according to Plymouth Police Chief Michael Botieri, whose officers arrested Merricks Thursday night.

The chief said Merricks’ estranged wife contacted his department on Thursday after she found what she feared were explosives in parts of the house and in a shed on the couple’s home at 6 Paddington Way.

The State Police Bomb Squad and Plymouth police searched the property and discovered the explosives, which included at least one hand grenade, explosive detonation cords, blasting caps and a former of TNT explosive, the chief said.

Neighbors were asked to stay inside their homes, but were not evacuated during the search, the chief said.

He said his officers are currently trying to track the history of the recovered munitions, but said detectives believe they were stolen because they are military-grade, and not publicly available.

The first question should be, who did he steal it from and how come there is no inventory control? If it was not reported that the explosives were stolen, then I am afraid those explosives were either not stolen or were given to him from an insider.

That's the exact question the public should be asking....
Nobody, not even a police officer can just "Steal" these type of devices & weapons.

^^ this could be closer to the truth than we think?

Not ALL cops are nwo mind control soldiers. Not ALL of them are the "bad guys".

Is it not possible he's on "our" side? A "good guy" perhaps?
Everyone has to take a side. And both sides need things like what he allegedly had.

If this was a case of him supplying the Boston bombers or if he was going to use them for a false flag attack.... Why would they arrest him?

And if he did get the military stuff from someone or some group in the military, and the military didnt notice, wouldn't that mean that someone or some group in the military is also on "our side"? Otherwise, their inventory would have been off. It would have been noticed and they would have been looking for the stuff. Instead, once again... A regular old citizen saves the day..

Wherever Dorner is, law enforcement officials fear that he may be heavily armed, possibly with a powerful .50 caliber rifle, which shoots five-inch long bullets that can pierce bullet proof vests and vehicles, as well as a shoulder-fired missile launcher.

This was intended to show reasonable doubt in the Tsarnev case, whatever the Hell his name is.

The Obama administration is probably being pressured by radical muslims to get that kid off the hook, so they are setting up an American to take the fall instead.

Boston police officer pleads not guilty to explosives charges and is released on $1,000 cash bail
Merricks’s attorney, Eric Goldman, said in court that there was no evidence linking the explosives to his client and suggested they may actually belong to the son of his estranged wife, who returned recently from a military tour of duty.
“There is nothing linking him [Kirk] to these explosives, they just as easily could be the son’s,” he said.
After the arraignment Goldman told reporters that Merricks is a veteran who served in Desert Storm and Desert Shield in Iraq.
According to Plymouth Police Chief Michael Botieri, Robin Merricks contacted his department on Thursday after she found what she feared were explosives in parts of the house and in a shed on the couple’s home on Paddington Way.
The State Police Bomb Squad and Plymouth police searched the property and discovered the explosives which included the four grenades, explosive detonation cords, blasting caps, and a form of TNT explosive, the chief said. There were also about 150 rounds of ammunition for shotguns and pistols of various sizes.

I have a feeling it will eventually be linked back to the ex-wifes son (which recently returned from combat), and in my opinion all this fits directly into the bigger picture of what is going on...

Kinda off topic but this made me think of the guy who turned a bulldozer or some type of machinery into a tank, and went on a rampage. Or the other guy who stole a tank and got hung up on a median.

West Texas Fertilizer Plant Explosion "cell" connection...

West Man Arrested For Destructive Device
An affidavit says on April 26, someone in the town of Abbott unwittingly took a galvanized metal pipe, fuse, lighter and a number of chemicals from Reed. The chemicals included potassium nitrate, aluminum powder, Iron Oxide, and Ammonium perchorate. The affidavit says all the items are elements of a pipe bomb. Court documents say the person who had the materials called the McLennan Coutny Sheriffs Office Tuesday, and Reed admitted they were his.

Cause of catastrophic Texas explosions remains mystery
Investigators have not ruled out an intentional fire being behind explosions at a fertilizer plant in the small town of West that left 15 people dead, the Texas fire marshal said Thursday.
State Fire Marshal Chris Connealy said investigators were unable to rule out three possible causes, including a spark from a golf cart, an electrical short or an intentionally set fire.
"The cause cannot be proven to an acceptable level," Connealy told reporters.
Investigators said the incident was actually two simultaneous blasts triggered by the fire. The blasts, which registered on seismographs as a magnitude 2.1 earthquake and was felt 50 miles away, caused damage to a 37-block area of the town.

West, Texas: The Town That Blew Up
Two and a half months later, the cause of the West fire remains officially undetermined. An investigation led by the state fire marshal and the ATF continues. Fire investigation is a subtractive process—investigators cross off potential causes until, ideally, there’s only one left. At this point, the West investigation is down to three. The first is the building’s electrical system. The second is a golf cart; the workers used one to get around the facility, and both electric and gas-powered golf carts have been recalled in recent years for catching fire.
The third option is arson, though no one has been charged, and investigators haven’t suggested how someone might have set the fire. On May 10, Bryce Reed, a former West volunteer paramedic, was arrested and charged with possession of a pipe bomb. In the blast’s aftermath, Reed had made dubious claims to the press about his role in the response and was quickly let go from West EMS. He has strongly denied setting the fire, however, and law enforcement officials, at least on this count, say they believe him. “At this time we can find no connection whatsoever between Bryce Reed, the pipe bomb, and the explosion at West,” Sheriff McNamara says.

Don't believe this, of course he was a muslim immigrant disguising as a cop !

Come on ! who uses bombs anyways ? only Muslims use it, they're insane these Muslims, they claim to be cops & blow americans all day.

Now honestly ; American stereotypes...I don't wanna hear any of you hate on Islam, because everyday, I find out how evil you are to use the poor immigrants to create a massive sandal wearing enemy which is always invisible yet always...explosive ????

I just came across this today and was looking for updates, which of course there are none!!

I did however come across this article which I find highly entertaining.

On the night on which MIT police officer Sean Collier was shot, it can be observed that two descriptions of different suspects could possibly match Officer Merricks. One description is of a black male, wearing all black, the other description being of a Hispanic male in a cowboy hat. When seen going into court, Merricks was wearing a black cowboy hat.
In similar news, a man in Topsfield, MA was found with materials used to make pressure cooker bombs in early June. Daniel Morley had the police called on him for a domestic incident, and after a long stand-off with police, he was arrested. The police then found a pressure cooker and other “concerning materials” in his bedroom, similar to the bombs used in the Boston Marathon bombing.

Do you think the FBI and Boston Police have explored every avenue as to the suspects of the bombing and the shooting of Officer Collier? Do you think Officer Merricks and Mr. Morley should be questioned about the explosives they possess and the possibility of their involvement in April’s events?
