...Would it kill ya to put a little no nitrate bacon in it? I can eat any of the raw greens, but when you start cooking em, it's like eating something I just scraped off of the bottom of a dock. I've tried many ways over the years and found that if I put some nice partially crisp bacon in with the greens they go down easy. My wife doesn't even have to play the airplane into the hanger game to get me to eat em either.  Quoting: van down by the river 647094 LOL I try to use stuff with no nitrates in it. Yesterday I made endives with turkey bacon (no nitrates) and sauteed onions it was pretty good. I like bacon, I just try to steer clear of the preservatives. Bacon makes everything better. Well okay then...I feel better now.   there, there :) yes...all is better when cuddled up against the mistress of the dark.
