So, what does the outcome of the Zimmerman trial do for Self defense/Stand your ground laws?
I think that, regardless of the outcome of the trial, stand your ground laws across the country are screwed.

If Zimmerman is found not guilty, it sets a precedent and we'll probably see more killings where the killer claims he was in fear for his life.

If he's found guilty, people are less likely to shoot in defense of their lives at all, because they might go to jail.
