Some of the people who have been found to be mentally insane by Psychiatrists/Doctors and are being held in institutions because they believed that they were being watched, their telephone calls listened to, all their internet communications spied on, the familiar claims of ""THEY'RE" trying to take over the world".
Surely all these "insane" people will have a very strong case to appeal against their hospitalization; I mean Snowden has clearly proven that they WERE being spied on the whole time!
So any legal people here know if they can take this to court?

People like this, whether they were being targeted or not also usually state that they were being directly influenced by some type of technology (e.g., voices being put in their head). That's sort of the final nail in the coffin that gets them put away. Unfortunately, there isn't any proof for those claims.
