A RAGING bull gored three people in the packed streets of Pamplona after the fearsome creature broke loose from a bull ran in Spain today.

Horrific scenes occurred after an animal charged at Spaniard Diego Miralles, 31, and tossed him to the ground with its horns and pinned him there for 30 seconds.

Brave bystanders tried to pull the animal away by its tail while the man clung to its horns as screams rang throughout the street.

He was eventually dragged to safety, but another Spaniard and an American named as 20-year-old Patrick Ekols were also gored by the bull.

Doctors said Mr Ekols to have his spleen removed after the bull's horn had gone through the abdominal cavity and punctured the organ. He is in a stable condition.
