Re: Is there a way to treat low grade Urinary Tract Infection without antibiotics?
Or can they go away on their own?
I think I am developing one and cannot take antibiotics. I am recovering and currently under treatment for clostridium difficile intestinal infection, caused by.. antibiotics. so, i cant take another antibiotic.. at least for a couple of years, without MASSIVE risk of relapsing or turning this into a very very serious infection. The medicine I am on for the c.diff right now is Vancomycin, and this does not treat UTi type infections. I had previously been on Flagyl, which did not kill off my infection, and kinda wondering if that triggered it. I am not even sure if this is a UTI. just REALLY bad timing for this!!!!!

Cranberry Juice only treats UTI symptoms, not the bacteria.

So, I am wanting to pursue this the natural way.

I should get one of those urine test strips to find out for sure.

I do think I have had a few minor UTI's in the past and they just went away on their own, but I have no clue.

I have loads of kefir which I have been drinking to help replenish my destroyed good gut flora.. and I know that can also help in yeast infections, so... wondering if that could help if I started taking even more?

Suggestions?

As poster said above.
Colloidal silver mixed into a glass of cranberry juice works.

^^^^^THIS!!!!^^^^

I just saved 4 puppies with CS. "Superman Juice" is what we call it in our house. We use it for all KINDS of things. Great stuff! ;)

Mixed with cranberry juice, you should be right-as-rain in a few days.

I would suggest taking it for a while as a prophylactic too since UTI's are know to re-occur once you've had one. Can't hurt since no side-effects and you have work HARD to take too much CS.

We do 10ppm for internal and 30ppm for external applications(first-aid).

All these crazy guesses ya know?

Cranberry juice is the cure for a lot it will flush A LOT out. If you're not on medication, eat a good amount of grapefruit a day and drink plenty of cranberry juice.

Bee Propolis, you can find it in a dropper - it's cut w/ alcohol to make it less gummy. It's worked in every instance I've tried it in the last 9 mos:

Bacteria and viruses do not develop a resistance to Propolis.

Propolis has been found to help:

Fight many diseases
Regulate blood cells that clump together
May help reduce strokes
Control free radicals
Prevent damage caused by heavy metals (lead, mercury, caladium)
Enhance immune system
Promote healing
Reduce pain, inflammation, and fever
Act as an antibiotic without side effects

Speed cell growth
Stimulate cells that destroy invading organisms
Skin irritations
Cuts and burns
Psoriasis and eczema
Acne
Absorption of certain nutrients

OP, immediately STOP ingesting any sugar. This includes cranberry juice 'cocktail' that is sweetened. I would alos avoid fruit juice of any kind.

Start drinking water, lots of water. It may seem counterintuitive if it is hurting to pee, but diluting the urine helps with the bacteria count.

Colloidal silver, I would drink a couple of 3 ounces to start, then an ounce each hour. That'll fix ya.

I haven't read the responses but I tried what Ted said on Earth Clinic to take a teaspoon of sea salt in a glass of water before bed and I got temporary relief from that.

Anyway read at Earth Clinic:

always the best place to start.

Re: Is there a way to treat low grade Urinary Tract Infection without antibiotics?
Stop acidic food (good advise to avoid sugar and more)!
Sea salt - ok!
Some sodium bicarbonate - ok.
Lot of tea from corn silk (not too strong) - 2 l/day for 5 to 7 days.
----
Is about your own flora (bacterias, not viruses) and antibiotics will damage and worsen your health.

No wheat bread (barley quinoa, more expensive but safe!) , no yeast, no meat, no alchohol, no sugar, np chocolate, no eggs, no diary products.

Your immune system is too stressed by the lyfe style and got confused about good or bad bactrias, about action to take in the attempt of solving the issue.

Is like an auto-immune syndrome.
Good advise could find from some people with natural help.

And remember - more liquids = less Potassium, so go ahead with cornsilk and bananas to compensate the loss and have a good balance of Sodium/Botassium amount in your body.

This won't help the UTI but it is a new treatment for c.diff. Apologies for the, um, unpleasantness, of the subject matter, but I have seen a number of articles where this procedure was tested and is safe:

I know that the idea is disgusting but it makes sense.

Probably a good idea. OP, do you have any close friends that are ...regular?

D mannose! Works instantly, all natural. You can actually find it in human body, just need more. It makes the urinary tract's walls slippery, so bacteria cant settle down there, they leave the body

Cranberry juice. Lots and lots of cranberry juice.

I guarantee it.

This... Also you will want to make sure that you avoid brands like Ocean Spray because of all the sugar and look for a juice from a health food place like Whole Foods, containing 100% Juice content.

Re: Is there a way to treat low grade Urinary Tract Infection without antibiotics?
I have been plagued with these, these are items i've used:
Urva usa - drops work great with water
boil parsley strong put in boillion drink
asparagus, also drink water with boullion
colladial silver, (use only once in a while but works)
Grapefruit Seed Extract drops or caplets don't over use.

Thing's i have heard but not tried
baking soda (be careful check your ph with this)
real lemon water

Antibiotics won't work after a while, so you almost have to try something alternative, there was a formula of drops i used that worked the best had dandelion/urva usa/juniper was called lights of something or another.

The baking soda works for me if bladder infection.
