This won't help the UTI but it is a new treatment for c.diff. Apologies for the, um, unpleasantness, of the subject matter, but I have seen a number of articles where this procedure was tested and is safe: [ link to en.wikipedia.org] I know that the idea is disgusting but it makes sense. Probably a good idea. OP, do you have any close friends that are ...regular?
