I don't understand what Trayvon should have done. He's walking home and some guy is following him in a car. The guy gets out of the car and confronts him. I would hope that my son would kick that guy's ass. The guy had a gun and Trayvon is dead, but I still don't know what he could have done differently.

He actually lost sight of Trayvon for some minutes and was on his way back to the vehicle when Trayvon doubled back and attacked GZ. I have one question. Why didn't Trayvon just GO HOME?????? GZ had lost sight of him and Trayvon was near home. Trayvon could have continued on home instead of doubling back and attacking GZ.

I have a lot of hope knowing that I have some like minded folk out there. There are some people on this thread who have called me racist or ignorant. Care to point out where I was being racist and ignorant?

I don't hate people because of the color of their skin. They could be green for all I care. My bone to pick with them lies in the content of their character, or lack thereof. Nobody gives a shit that they are brown. The root of the issue is that they act like fucking assholes. It's all about behavior, but these assholes will try and have you believe that its because they are darker skinned.

Another point worth making, this whole "we're all the same on the inside" bullshit is laughable. We are RADICALLY different from a physiological perspective. Anyone who tells you otherwise is kidding themselves.

Back to my original point, I am not ignorant, or racist or evil or anything you want to call me. I am a good person god dammit.

My priorities are family, people and country in that fucking order. If yours aren't, perhaps you should re-examine your priorities.

So given the fact that I have some like minded people here, I'd like to give a couple of recommendations that might prove useful moving forward:

Tell people about this idea. Find 10 people you know and trust that think they same way, and tell them to be ready. Tell them they need to go find 10 people that they know and trust and do the same. I am not advocating violence, or anything illegal. We are too polite to throw the first punch. But when the punch is thrown, and it will be, we need to be ready and united. You need people that you can rely on, that you can pool resources with and that will stand with you. Despite what you may believe, you can't make it on your own.

Don't show your cards. Keep this discussion backroom. Don't talk about it on the phone, on social media or in mixed company. Keep it as an understanding between united parties that isn't to be spoken about outside of the context. Don't be outwardly anti-social or aggressive, nor political. Just smile and agree, and let them think you are one of them.

Better yourself. Stop watching the fucking kardashians and cnn. Every single day you should, 1. Learn something and 2. Create something. Don't read fiction, read non-fiction. Learn new skills. For every high tech skill you learn(automotive, IT) learn a low tech skill that we take for granted (making rope, making concrete, refining iron). Take your money and invest in hobbies. Buy equipment that you can learn a hobby on, and that will enable you to produce. Get machine tools. Dabble in electrical engineering.

Learn how to defend yourself. My personal recommendations are Jiu Jitsu, Thai boxing, Wrestling, Combat Sambo and Kali/Escrima. Learn knife attack and defense. Learn how to shoot. Learn how to defend yourself mentally. Understand psychology and how you can manipulate and control your opponent. It's not all physical.

Take care of yourself. Eat clean and be active. Keep your cardio where it needs to be. Run, jump, swim, do whatever it takes. Stop drug and alcohol dependency. If you are weak, you are a liability to yourself and others.

These are just a couple of recommendations, but I'm sure many of you already do this. Even if it ever needs to get used, you will be a better person at the end of the day for doing so. I am by no means telling you you have to do any of this, I am simply making a recommendation based upon what I have found has given me a great deal of happiness and a feeling of not wasting my life. Who wants to wake up on their death bed and realize their live has been spent consuming entertainment?

At one point in time, we were the greatest country on Earth. Our people were strong, productive and proud. We had beautiful communities and families, and we didn't take shit from anyone. We were the envy of the world. Deep down, we still are. I firmly believe we still can be. But there are certain factions that know this, and don't want it, and that is what you see happening today. Take every day and become better than the day prior and I guarantee you we will see it again some day. The shit will hit fan, and the way we respond will define the face of the US moving forward.
