I believe this is talking just what it's talking about: catholics will abandon their past radical points and get near protestants. Protestants will also do the same, abandon their previous non-negotiable points and embrace catholics.

The difference is - sorry catholics, i have to say this - protestants will be abandoning truth and embracing lies, and catholics will just be exchanging a previously confortable lie for another one more confortable in face of social changes and expectations.

As for the part about the downfall of humanity, i believe the text is saying there will be more than one jorney, and while those jorneys last, the humanity will decay somehow.

I find noticeable and interesting that Cataclismo is almost an anagram of "Catolicismo" (Catholicism written in spanish or portuguese). Could this cataclism be related to Catholicism? There are some past predictions posted in another thread and also reposted previously in this thread that are related to this.

Protestant's only trustable source of prophecy is the word of God, the bible. The bible even says that even if an angel comes delivering a message that goes aggainst the bible, it is not to be believed.

The protestants you talk about maybe are already part of the new protestants that are not really protestants.

My interpretation is that even this prophecy of Parravacini doesn't see this merging between catholics that are not really catholics and protestants that are not really protestants in a good light, in fact it seems associated with the decay of humankind.

Not that I agree those changes to accomodate the two faiths are correct, the position of any bible believing christian should be "what the bible says only" (sola scriptura).

Maybe no one has noticed but humanity has fallen. Look at just one generation back and compare to now. This is Sodom and Gommorah, loss in values, virtue, morality and lack of love, just as predicted in Matthews prophecy.
