GLPers love their "honesty". This is an honest family, according to them. There may be more dishonest reality shows out there, and "Mama" may very well be saving money, yet she's "being a good family model" by making a meal out of spaghetti, butter, and ketchup.

This show is a blatant manipulation. You're programmed to empathize with them. You're being programmed to accept this as if it's normal. It is not. The rest of the world is laughing at every one of you that buy this crap!

It may be entertaining, but you're losing IQ points every second you devote your attention to this drivel.

That must be the stupidest show on tv...i really hope they throw it in the trash bin soon because that is where it belongs.

Yep, I live in rural Georgia and I can tell you that my neighbors are amazing! Poor country people that will give you the shirt off their back. They also know how to survive, and they are awesome people.

I can't even imagine being in the city or the burbs when TSHTF, with a bunch of plastic people that don't know how to do anything for themselves at all and that think the world revolves around ipods and fancy cars.

I got really baked and watched a few episodes of this show. My bf was actually so angry with me, he had to leave the house. He's never done that over a TV show before. :lolsauce:

I don't see the big deal, really, it's no different than watching animals at the zoo.
