LOUD SKY RUMBLING RIGHT NOW - Clearwater / Dunedin Florida | |

Definitely not any thunder I've heard before Quoting: Anonymous Coward 24047257 It's happening right now? It's stopped up here, is it moving? Oddly been having a headache for the last 20 minutes. Felt like that earlier today, and yesterday, someone squeezing my head at the temples. *shrug* just a weird observation. *~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~* I can't force people to accept the truth, but I can expose them to it. |

Other area users have made a thread on the same thing in the same area. Quoting: Halo2Alexis™ I'll try to pick up the sound through my cell phone when it "comes back on." At first I thought it was the air conditioner kicking in, but it was WAY too loud and constant. Not thunder, there are no clouds out. Completely clear sky, but a couple of thin clouds directly overhead look like waves. I'm literally standing in my driveway typing this, and its absolutely 110% coming from the sky. It's a VERY loud constant rumbling noise, almost like a motorcycle was parked inside the house and revving the engine. My picture frames on the entertainment center are shaking, it's THAT loud! As soon as it starts, it just stops. It's going on & off in waves of about 3-5 minutes like a tornado siren would. Someone turning it on & off. WTF?!? I used to live in High Point near St. Pete / Clearwater Airport and this happens about quarterly. A year or so ago I drove around and I found it comes from the airport. Most likely the Coast Guard doing maintenance or testing something. Think of it, the Coast Guard station is on the N edge of the airport, surrounded by water on the N and E meaning you can hear it with little obstacle in Clearwater, Safety Harbor etc. |

Have there been similar reports recently from Mexico within 4 hours ago? Have there been reports from Bolivia, Chile, Argentina or Brazil, within the last 4 hours? What about Australia or the other islands to the south of it? I would research if I could right now...but I gotta run |

"...A classic example of a Strombolian-type eruption was the Paricutin eruption in 1943, about 200 miles west of Mexico City. This eruption marks the first time scientists were able to observe the complete life cycle of a volcano, from birth to extinction. Three weeks before the Paricutin eruption occurred, the people near Paricutin village heard the rumbling noises that resembled thunder, yet they were confused because the skies were clear of clouds. The noises were associated with earthquakes at depth near Paricutin. On February 20, 1943 a farmer, Dionisio Pulido, and his wife were burning shrubbery in their cornfield when they observed the earth in front of them swell upward and crack to form a fissure 2-2.5 m across. They heard hissing sounds and later described the rise of "smoke" from the fissure, which had the repugnant smell of rotten eggs. The "rotten egg" smell is a hallmark of H2S gas, and the crack that opened in front of them was a fumarole..." [link to www.geology.sdsu.edu] |

It was just a low rumbling that lasted for 15 or 20 seconds, maybe a little longer. Thunder doesn't usually last that long around here. I still don't know what the source was..... Interesting! Anonymous Coward User ID: 43572545 United States 07/17/2013 09:23 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I use to hear what sounded like a plane sitting on a runway right outside my window.. go outside and it would sound like it was just right at the tree line... and it was constant and then all sudden it stop.. this went on for days and would stop... then all sudden it come back again... I havent heard it in awhile though... weird things going on these days... Kinda like the flashes of light in the night skies or sometimes what looks like the sun coming up in the middle of the night. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 43553272 That is a great description of what we have heard here in west Texas, we are near a base, but this rumbling was different than the planes firing up. It sounds like it is coming from the low sky. It was like a low rumble, and hard to describe, but the noise came and went like a rotating siren, louder and duller, like something was rotating with the sound amplified. |

Quoting: Halo2Alexis™ Thread: WOW!!Sudden proton spike Can a spike in solar activity trigger the sounds? It would have to occur on more than one occasion for it to be possible though, since its been happening for a while, at the same time of night. Thoughts? It seemed the Sun was super white, larger than it normally appears to be, and further north than it should be at approximately 7:25 p.m. (prior to sunset) last night. Maybe you can check it to see if you notice any anomalies to night. Seriously intense, white, bright, and northerly decent. It seems Florida and the Magnetosphere bands aloft com to mind. Curious if loud noise are occurring due to disruptions in and/or between converging bands amongst the magnetosphere. And no, this was definitely NOT a passing boat! I'm too far to hear those. Quoting: Halo2Alexis™ It's stopped at the moment, my phone mic wont pick up anything at all. Too dark for a picture, and there's nothing to take a photo of, just the night sky. Mosquitos are out in full force, but I'll suffer some bites to capture this. And with HAARP being "offline", I can't figure out if the area is being hit. God is intending to judge this area, I suspect. Jeremiah 25:30-32 King James Version (KJV) 30 Therefore prophesy thou against them all these words, and say unto them, The Lord shall roar from on high, and utter his voice from his holy habitation; he shall mightily roar upon his habitation; he shall give a shout, as they that tread the grapes, against all the inhabitants of the earth. 31 A noise shall come even to the ends of the earth; for the Lord hath a controversy with the nations, he will plead with all flesh; he will give them that are wicked to the sword, saith the Lord. 32 Thus saith the Lord of hosts, Behold, evil shall go forth from nation to nation, and a great whirlwind shall be raised up from the coasts of the earth. |

Quoting: Halo2Alexis™ Thread: WOW!!Sudden proton spike Can a spike in solar activity trigger the sounds? It would have to occur on more than one occasion for it to be possible though, since its been happening for a while, at the same time of night. Thoughts? Actually, yes. It's called acoustic-gravity waves. Now here is the kicker. We aren't actually "hearing" the sounds. The spectrum of the sounds lies within the infrasound range which is not audible to humans. We might hear only a tiny bit of the power of these sounds, but more than hear them - we "feel" them. We feel the vibration and our brain interprets it as sound. They have been referred to in ancient writings as Trumpets of the gods, God's Trumpet, Thor's Hammer.... The list goes on and on. I'm not saying that this is what your rumbling is, but these things ARE real. Also... please don't call me a shill. I don't know what is causing the sounds. I'm offering this as one out of MANY possibilities. Also, the phenomenon happens in the upper atmosphere of the earth. So explaining the localization of the sounds... no clue how that would work. This sounds very interesting. There will come a time when you believe everything ends. This will be the beginning [Louis L'Amour] ~ A r c t u r u s |
