The, what I think to be illegals in my
area are staying home today. No activity
in their areas, they aren't even outside
listening to music, very quiet.

So far I haven't seen anything from CA on the news.

Truck With 52 Illegal Immigrants Rushes Border

52 illegal immigrants were taken into custody after trying to rush the border early Monday morning.

Just after 3 a.m., a truck carrying the immigrants drove the wrong way through the San Ysidro border crossing and into the U.S.

The truck was stopped a short time later on Interstate 805 near the Plaza Bonita Road exit.

The passengers of the truck were arrested and all are expected to be sent back to Mexico.

No doubt a lot of these people showed up for work fearing that tomorrow somebody else would have their job! Businesses working with a skeleton crew could use the help, especially in restaraunts and hotels. Anybody who shows up, I imagine, would be hired on the spot.

If I had a business that's what I would do before I'd take a loss.

It's good to hear English spoken again

No changes where I"m at, the ONLY authentic mexican restaraunt we have in town is open and doing quite well, lots of people eating there at lunch. That place is run strictly by hispanics. Of course they are legal and law abiding citizens of this country...so why should they lose money to join this fight? In all honesty....they have an understanding of business. THis country is about money and making it, preferrably the LEGAL way...they know that if they joined this boycott, THEY are losing money, not the government, not the town, not anyone but themselves.

Ya know, its just really hard to tell, none of the US Citizens seem to have US Citizen stamped on their foreheads, none of the Legal Immigrants seem to have Legal Immigrant stamped on their forehead, and strangely enough, none of the Illegal Aliens seem to have Illegal Alien stamped on their foreheads either.

I will get out and do a short drive around town, yea, I can cover the whole town in about 30 mintues, and see what's going on.

God ya gotta do everything around here yourself. No refried beans for lunch so I gotta get me a peanut butter and jam sanwich without the bread. Kinda messy. And I'm running around naked.
