I thought Zimmerman's lawyers took the case pro bono to begin with is that wrong and he does owe them money now?

I know seriously I was shocked but I did hear it on MSN what I'm trying to find out is if it was a false report. The lawyers said on tv they haven't been paid, the donations were for expenses for the case. They hope to get paid when George has some money, eventually. In lawyer talk 'expenses' includes their hourly fee, stamps, coffee, paralegals, envelopes, employeers salaries, rent, utilities, cable tv, cell phome bills, insurance, gas, car payments. Expenses included milage, expenses included the kitchen sink. They claim whatever they want in the most general sense.
