Only Me Strawberry Girl User ID: 34792354 United States 07/18/2013 11:46 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Hang in there, OP. I've had my fair share of fancy cranium issues over the past several months. I have the opposite problem from you - I don't have enough fluid because it's leaking so my brain has no cushion. It's causing all sorts of craziness for me. sigh...the human body sucks. Goodbye, halcyon days... There is a theory which states that if ever anyone discovers exactly what the Universe is for and why it is here, it will instantly disappear and be replaced by something even more bizarre and inexplicable. There is another theory mentioned, which states that this has already happened. |

Ms. Superduper User ID: 15016867 United States 07/19/2013 12:28 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | It could be anything from a bacteria or virus to electrolytes being out of whack to poor circulation...that's why they run tests... Just talked to my doctor, it is hydrocephalus. Going to wait and see if the excess fluid will drain on its own or if I need a shunt. If I need the shunt my doctor wants the surgery done at the mayo clinic in Jacksonville I'm at cape canaveral hospital right now. I feel fine now, my doctor believes it caused from trauma I whacked my head at work on may 5 then hard again on July 4 I pray that this will rectify itself. I feel in my spirit that it will be alright. BTW, the Mayo Clinic in Jax is excellent. I've been there. Greater is He who is in me than he who is in the world. Whatever feels good to your soul, do that. |
