I agree that the name Jesus holds no special magical power and that the intent is what drives them away primarily. However, there is another aspect to this I believe that operates. I believe the major religions, Christianity, Judaism and Islam were created by non-human intelligences, call them ET if you will. They've been here since humanity first began and have manipulated our beliefs every step of the way. I think, but have no proof admittedly, that when they leave at the name of Jesus they do so to support/prop up the belief in Christianity.
