I don't think the words "angels" and "demons" will still be in the vocabulary a thousand years from now. Just think of how much technology has changed our lives in the last 100 years alone. Once the supercomputers turn into artifical intelligence, machines will do the thinking for us... That's my point, I know many believe this...but the fact that the spirit world DOES exist...will be the reason that religion will always be around. well, in some ways you could say science is a form of religion. |

It can be seen that way... Some hold onto it like a belief...some give money to it... Although I happen to be a huge fan of science, but also faith. Science is the study of the creation, religion/spirituality is the study of the creator/spirit. |

For the record, electrons and bacteria have always existed too, but we began to understand what they are and how they work, and we generally understand now that lightning or disease are not the wrath of an angry deity. Religion is pretty much what fills the gaps in our understanding. |
