Most peopole do not run around 'dead on the inside'.

You do not see because you dont want to admit you have a problem having a job, and "just doing your job" are different things. A job is a way where you contribute to society. You agree to do work in exchange for money which you can trade for other services. As long as you don't break any morals or ethics, why does that makes you part of the problem. Because the ruling elite control the system where they take part of your labor and do evil things with it. Many jobs also support the death and destruction of others.
