Some time ROLLER Coasters can be fun to ride. I like to go on them when I frequent a park such as six flags. Lotta people there some times. I want to just be all sneaky and cut in line. but I wont ,rules is rules.

DALLAS, TX (KTRK) -- Authorities say a woman has fallen to her death from a roller coaster ride Six Flags Over Texas.


Six Flags Over Texas spokesperson Sharon Parker said paramedics responded immediately to the scene but it was too late.

I'm right across from there at Ranger stadium....I can see six flags clearly...most of the rides are shut down now, and there a news copter flying right over the park...so sad... Can you imagine the people that saw her fall...they'll be scarred for life.. :(

How do we know the restraint failed on its own? She could have just been an idiot/suicidal and tried to wiggle her way out of it.

I think their are a lot easier ways to go than that.

her young son was with her. this is just terrible. looks like the woman knew something was wrong with the belt and the employees said it was ok. her family will be set for life now.

Yeah, the park will pay big $$$, but the woman should NOT have continued if she felt it was not secured.

I always wondered why some rollercoasters don't also have a seat belt along with the locking bar. Seems like such a simple extra security.

Great point. Every seat should have a manual restraint. Seems common sense to me.
