It's all going to erode from below and collapse. The maps were out years ago but the how wasn't understood.

Re: Tidal waves at Louisiana sinkhole, now more than 500 feet deep
I live 108 miles west of the sink hole which I believe is within the perimeters of the "sacrifice zone". In the past 4-5 years my neighbors and I have noticed a gradual sinking of our property which have made many of us resort to raised bed gardening due to lack of water drainage after rains. At first it was barely noticeable, but now it is a growing concern. Our community is sinking at a rate of 1-2 inches a year with no signs of letting up. Our roads are constantly being repaired due to cracks and damage not due to wear and tear, but from the ground shifting. During the 70's and 80's our area was dotted with oil wells that made some quite happy with the nice little checks they received from the oil companies, but little did the property owners know that the raping and pillaging of the land would come at a much higher price in the future. Our "Sportmen's Paradise" is dying due to man's greed.

About SINKING LAND :

A reply-post to one who found it ridiculous that Long Beach could have been sinking ... without notion ...

Well funny thing THAT STORY IS TRUE...

Any one that has ever visited Long Beach California has seen the oil pumps all over the city, near the beaches and even in the port. Where is all this oil coming from? Those very underground chambers mentioned above. Below is an excerpt from the History of Long Beach... the part most pertinent to our study...

The Geological Proof
Long Beach California

Oil Girl
A couple years ago when L.A. had those terrible fires, the sky turned literally orange. I was in Long Beach near the oil pumps. I was walking up this dirt road and this shot revealed itself to me. My intention was to only get the sun behind the oil pump, but then friend's daughter ran ahead and into the shot, and turned it into something I could have never planned. Any one that has ever visited Long Beach California has seen the oil pumps all over the city, near the beaches and even in the port. Where is all this oil coming from? Those very underground chambers mentioned above. Below is an excerpt from the History of Long Beach... the part most pertinent to our study...

In the late 1930s, oil was discovered under Long Beach harbor. Its production helped Long Beach recover from the Depression and provided revenue to support expansion and modernization of the harbor as well as enriching individuals who owned land in the area. As a result when land near the oil field began to sink, those who were profiting from pumping the oil out from under the land resisted any suggestion that there could be a link between oil production and subsidence. They hired experts to defend their position. As the subsidence continued, those whose property was damaged by the sinking, but who were not benefiting from the oil production, hired experts to determine what was really causing the sinking.

While the controversy continued, the land kept sinking. It sunk like a big bowl and the bottom of the bowl was more than 25 feet below its previous elevation. Some warned that if the sinking continued, the ocean might inundate the city. The Navy Shipyard was near the bottom of the bowl and the Navy didn't own the mineral rights of the Shipyard so they were suffering damage but receiving no benefit so in 1958 the Navy sued all of the oil operators. Although the suit was never litigated or settled, it helped to convince many people that a proposed solution, pumping water into the fault blocks where the oil had been taken out, should be implemented. And that solution stopped the sinking.

The production of oil from under the harbor led geologists to explore the area under the tidelands and submerged lands off Long Beach and oil was discovered to be there as well. This discovery led to a struggle between the city, to whom the state had granted the tidelands in 1911, and the state and federal governments over control of the oil revenue. Eventually the state and city were forced to divide the money.

[link to salticid.nmc.csulb.edu]

So there we have our first piece of proof... Long Beach is held up by water as they use sea water to replace the oil they take out. The land sank 25 feet in only a few years.

Thank you for posting this. I didn't realize how many rigs were drilling right through that salt dome. This clearly illustrates how the salt dome collapse is happening. They'll just keep drilling until the whole thing blows I guess….

You are very welcome !

Just realise that this IMAGE is just ONE EXAMPLE ...
there are many more veins and domes ...
I which I would have a top-view image to show you ...
I whished BHD were here to tell you and provide the links and images ...

They have been drilling for years and years, but now they seem to have lost control, and it is back-firing at them ... or it is just a part of the plan started in the 70's [researched by Rand corporation] and they dont give a damn about the casualties that will occur ...

What IF Cayce's map was not a map of AN ACCIDENT ??? But of a deliberate MILITARY PROJECT ???
Isnt it funny that the military map matches Cayce his map ?
This ISNT MOTHER NATURE, this is definitely MAN-MADE.

At Assumption Parish public briefing held on July 16, 2013 Gary Hecox, CB&I hydrogeologist stressed that they have talked to some of the leading experts in the world as too what could be causing the problem. Here is his short statement from the briefing:
"Nobody’s ever encountered anything like this in the history of mankind. I’m not kidding, what’s going on with that cavern where it’s going up several hundred feet and down several hundred feet, we don’t know if it’s some equipment issues or if there’s something going on in the cavern that we don’t understand. The pressure in the cavern continues to slowly increase. It’s up now to almost 600psi in the wellhead, that’s brine pressure not gas. I don’t even have a good hypothesis to tell you. The world experts have looked at this and we don’t know."

Question?: what is the salinity of the water in the sinkhole?

I know it has been tested, but have the results been reported?

Are they saying the water is emanating from a salt dome to disguise the fact that this water is flooding in from the GOM?

post on Assumption Parish Police Jury

1:50 p.m. Update
by assumptionla

John Boudreaux has reported another depth survey has been completed in the center of the sinkhole. A video has been posted on YouTube showing that 750' of cord was used and all 750' went down to bottom. This information has been sent to the Blue Ribbon Commission for there review.

DEPTH WAS 500 feet a day ago.
 Quoting: ancha

I watched the vid waiting to see something compelling, but there was no reference to actual depth . . . it appears he ran out of cord, but didn't tell the viewer how much was on that roll.

Can you provide more proof that it was 750?

But moreover, can you cite something that proves the depth was 500 feet one day ago?

If that's true, it is troubling.

Thanks.

Thanks, I have tried numerous times to find it on the net but have had no luck. It was an extensive tunnel system built by ancient people. Underground system looked like a city from the map.
 Quoting: El Quisqueyano

You probably know this stuff on this link:
Secret Underground Bases and Facilities
[link to www.crystalinks.com]

Informants have mentioned underground tunnels and facilities in New Mexico at Dulce, Sunspot, Datil, Corona, Taos Pueblo, and Albuquerque; in Arizona in the Santa Catalina Mountains; in Colorado at Delta, Grand Mesa, and Colorado Springs; in California at Needles, Edwards AFB, Tehachapi Mountains, Ft. Irwin, Norton AFB, and Morongo Valley; in Nevada at Blue Diamond, Nellis AFB, Groom Lake, and Papoose Lake areas, Quartzite Mountain, and Tonopah.

The U.S. Air Force sponsored research in deep underground construction as early as 1958. The RAND corporation carried out this research, and published proceedings from symposiums held on the subject of construction methods and equipment, utility installation, and the use of nuclear bursts to produce underground cavities.

Bear in mind the fact that these are all classified as civil engineering projects. Where civil engineering goes today, military engineering has already gone yesterday. In 1959, the Rand Report carried photos of the giant Tunnel Boring Machines (TBMs). Large scale military engineering projects may have made extensive use of these machines since the fifties.

The September, 1983 Omni ran a picture story on the "Subterrene," a nuclear tunnel-boring machine developed at Los Alamos. The machine burrows through deep underground rock, heating it to a molten state (magma), which cools after the Subterrene moves on. The result is a tube with a smooth, glazed lining that can be used for the high-speed transport shuttles that link the sub-base complexes.

Who remembers a looong time ago, a post made detailing an article about a leaf found in far north Queensland, here in Australia?

The leaf was found in a stream that had under ground origins. It was fresh, and green still.

What was so cool about this, was that the leaf was ONLY found on trees that grew in Papua New Guinea!

The leaf had fallen into a stream that went underground, beneath PNG, beneath the Coral Sea, beneath Queensland, and popped up in an underground cave, fresh as a daisy.

Like many things posted on this thread, it was interesting, and made not a lot of sense in the scheme of things, especially things bezerk.

We've had a couple of threads and links about underground rivers, and aquifers.

Even giant underground salt water aquifers and tunnels, remember that? about the subs travelling beneath the continental US through these tunnels? Even a briefing sheet or memo or something stating a sub base at A51!!

Things happen underground, out a mind, out a site.

The Rena is coming to mind atm... the ship stranded off NZ, only half the containers recovered. The rest goneski.

If one can accept a river flowing beneath the ground between PNG and Australia, how about other rivers between other nations?

How about a river flowing from Japan to the US?

How about a river flowing from the ** Kara Sea to the Gulf of Mexico?

The aquifers and oil rivers have not been explored as to where they come from and where they go, or what they flow under.

We dont know if people can send things down there, or if indeed people can go down there.

The disaster at Lake Peigneur. Accident? or deliberate act to create an entrance to a large salt cavern system, mostly already dug out.

Connected with Assumption Parish? Evidence of ongoing work beneath the surface? Engineering?

If you engineered a whole new way for one ocean to flow in to another, what would the new currents do for weather and climate? What other changes might be brought on?

Have we been thinking too small and localised on this whole issue at hand?

The info was seeded for a reason.

I brought up the underground river bewteen Japan and the US becasue the idea of storing radioactive waste in these caverns, known to be not the most stable seemed ridiculous. That radio active material is being detected immediately shot my mind over to Fukashima. A flows to B.

The deeeeep drilling off Japan. dropping 'something' in to the aquifer? Another bomb? The forst two didnt work, and resulted in a tsunami. Next ones will be deepest points on the Earth. Reckon that will work?

Cayce's prediction becoming a reality. We are so bloody clever, yet so bloody arrogant and crazy.

Be nice if just for once, those who watch, and are in the know, would just say 'waay wrong' or 'keep going sunshine'..

I LOVE this post !

Yes I remember all the things you mention being posted and discused in this thread !

Remember that Israeli sub ..
wanting to go IN THE CAVERN ...
but was prevented to do so ...
[sampson-option was mentioned by OP]
other caverns that were COLLAPSED !

Was ^^^THIS also a refer to the TUNNELS and rivers going from the GOM to who-knows-where ???
Did Odessa knew [and the Chin, who's sub was also there] that if that super-fast-new Israeli sub would go IN THERE it could go several places ... so to keep it food they prevented it to enter !

If this SUB could enter that cavern, it must have been HUGE !

Remeber also that story of a woman who's man was declared dead after a sub was missing and never returned from a trip in a cavern ? [there was something of Scorpio in the name of the sub or the case] ... She FELT that her man was NOT DEAD !
According to the thessis above, her man could have gone on a covert mission exploring these "rivers" and labyrinths and could not return coz the "mission" never finished and is still ongoing ....

Yes sweety, it is also connected with certain sinkholes imo ...

The US/JAPAN-river sounds interesting ...
I'll keep it in mind :)

Great thoughts BHD !!!

I had forgotten about the cavern's collapsing. Makes sense now eh?

The caverns may well be dissolved salt domes, veins and pillows.

If they are all connected, then they would become one long underwtaer cavern. These may have been used by military for various means, and I think would need to be pressurised to remain stable? Wouldnt they? That would require a loche system I think, otherwise you'd have pressure differences resulting in collapses.

In fact half of waht SQ was commenting on now makes a tonne more sense, including what China was doing on the floor of the Kara sea in the Arctic.

Need to ponder that before commenting more.

Oh so cool to find new meaning in words we have looked over again and again and again. New eyes helps.

According to an article entitled "California Floats On Ocean?" in the Fall 1985 edition of Search magazine, a high-ranking but unnamed Naval officer told of the discovery of a huge network of tunnels under portions of the west coast of the U.S. He said that U.S. nuclear submarines had explored some of these tunnels, which are accessible just off the continental shelf, and had followed them inland for several hundred miles. Here are more highlights of this incredible claim:

What is being passed off as the San Andreas Fault are actually large, unsupported chambers that are in the process of collapsing.
A well-known U.S. Nuclear submarine lost its way in one of the passages and was never heard from again. (Two U.S. nuclear submarines have disappeared under mysterious circumstances - the U.S.S. Thresher and the U.S.S. Scorpion.)

"Some time ago, I heard a man on a TV interview-show briefly mention that parts of California and neighboring states are floating on the Pacific Ocean! He was a high ranking Naval officer on a top- secret nuclear submarine that has been (and is) exploring and mapping these enormous caverns and passage-ways underneath the West for over 10 years now. (...) Williams explains that not "all" of the areas in question are actually "resting" or "floating" on the ocean, however there are allegedly many subterranean cavities below the western U.S., and they are not limited to California, and many of them consist of very large water-filled aqua-systems. These have been explored via nuclear submarines to several hundred miles inland, particularly in the region of southern California and the southern Oregon - northern California area. (...) "5. Some of the caverns (in S. California) are topped with oil while some others are filled with gases believed to approximate our atmosphere (in very ancient times).

This info above will let you re-think if there is a vast underground sea under California and Nevada with tributary rivers running in various directions,
and if the Pacific Ocean actually underlie the United States ...

There must be an other link in my old resume's about all this with a link with images, but I cant find it right now.
Will be back with it later ;)

- For other info about tunnels and the Ancient Race you could read this thread : Thread: The Secret of Secrets - Tunnels in Bucegi mountains displaying our true history discovered in 2003 (Page 11)
I posted in it too ...

Hope this helped you
and other viewers to understand the tunnel-system and waterways beneath the US, the saltdomes and why Bayou is experiencing this.

I drove an 18 wheeler for 7 years and I personally been to one of them underground facilities. It was in Omaha,Nebraska. You can hold 18 wheeler race events inside these underground structures their so big.

sorry, forgot the video:

awesome and creepy
watched it 2 times. he ran out of lead.
it was deeper than he had line.
deeper than 750.
did i see that right?
 Quoting: ancha

Question because I do not know, Could the weight of the line be pulling the reel out? Once several hundred feet rolled out, there had to be a decent amount of weight right? Once again, I am no expert, just asking...
On the day when the wagons come
I just pray that you let me on

Matthew 6:9-13

King James Version (KJV)

9 After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.

10 Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.

11 Give us this day our daily bread.

12 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.

13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.

Matthew 24:42 - Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.

Thanks.

I have been receiving email updates from this site for the last 10 months or so and I have always found their info. to be factual. You can see archived updates at the lower right. You will find accurate information.
It is a troubling situation.
I believe this is the deepest level the sinkhole has ever been and it is not stopping. Typical behavior seems to be - seismic activity for a few days, sometimes several days, a small burp, a pause, a larger burp, and the level drops, the perimiter increases, debris comes to the top, sinkhole is larger. Sometimes the depth has been more shallow after a burp, as debris rises and causes a false bottom. A more accurate depth measurement takes a day or so after an event.

as to questions of the water content, it was reported to be low salinity with diesel early on. not sure what they say now.
