That is an amazingly creepy video- something feels really wrong there.

You can see the gas bubbles right in the video at the shore!

So its gas thats causing the movement?

Been attempting to decipher this thread for a while.

It's been "quiet" for too long, something's about to give out. You don't just get wave interactions inland - and fast, bold currents at that - without a direct cause. Waves formed on lakes are usually due to surface wind sheer, as best I can tell anyways. If the sinkhole is drawing those kind of wave forces - inland- from the Gulf, its coming through from the bottom, so there's already suction occurring somewhere. The cavern underneath is probably non-existent, they're only stalling for time at this point.

Well if the salt domes go to the Gulf then I suppose its possible and since they say its 500 feet deep.....
Maybe that water in the sinkhole is from the Gulf??

Anyone notice there are a lot of highly unusual, extreme and dangerous things happening across the globe of late and that the MSM (MainStream Media) are completely ignoring them and pretending it's not happening and the majority of the sheeple out there have no idea that these dangerous, extreme, unusual things are even occurring? And if you tell them, they react in a very unusual way that mostly equates to them saying "so what... what's that got to do with me?"

Absolutely right about the currents.

Everyone should be paying attention.

Would not want to be anywhere near that area, and you have to wonder just how far out a "safe" zone is . . . of course, with all that's going on in this country, there's no such thing, right?

I'll do it. Got all the time in the world right now LOL

Also, this subject has more doom potential than any threads pinned involving particular individuals who shall remain nameless.
This demands immediate attention!

Yep for sure.We see all the 'junk' news 24/7 but not much real news. What is shown is hyped endlessly and the truth stretched till it snaps.
Then you mention something like this sinkhole to the average person and they are like "What" I didnt know that then turn and talk to someone else about some useless thing. Can tell they will never think about what you said ever again.

If you have nothing constructive to contribute, then buzz off.

The Assumption thread was a long running one here that got a lot of attention.

This is a VERY serious topic and there is no room for levity or some poster being a smart ass.

The sinkhole issue is much like the gas fracking issue . . . you can tell someone the details, explain what's going on and the potential for destruction . . . and they either give you a blank stare or they just move on to something else.

The apathy in America is appalling and troubling.

An aboriginal lady was talking to me about a local lake but said any inland water that bubbles and moves is big trouble.
She was instructed to check the local lake regularly by her guides.
This sounds like a disaster that only nature will conclude.

Just saw this thread down below that was posted back in April of it doing almost the same thing..
Thread: Watch: “Sinkhole tidal flow” — Water movement observed on surface of giant Louisiana sinkhole (VIDEO)

Maybe the water is the Gulf and its getting bigger which it most likely means it will eventually wash away and become part of the Gulf..Scary thought...

That is a way fucked situation preparing to happen!

This vid from BPEarthWatch is excellent and shows more clearly the dimensions of the problem we are facing. (about the 3min mark for sinkhole info)

Do you all remember the BP gulf oil incident? This sink hole in LA is a planned result of that.

Also the future map of the area is a result of the planned BP oil rig explosion.

That oil rig blowing up in the Gulf of Mexico was a planned event in case you missed it.
