You really cant.

All you can do is fill in time and maybe help others take their minds off it (ie fill in time with them).

At this point its all just window dressing.

Dont worry OP, just live your life.

Thats really the best you can do.

Reminds me of the guy on the beach throwing trapped little fish back into the sea.
There was a storm and 1000's of little fish were floundering on the sand.
Another man walked up and asked why he was doing this as he could never save all the fish before they died, what did it matter?
To which the man replied, as he tossed a fish back into the water; "Well it mattered for that little guy."

Buy some land in a rural community and build it into a farm.

If you have some savings use that to buy the land now.

Otherwise, work hard and save some money to buy the land.

Some people will sell you land on a land contract where you get immediate possession, but pay for the land over a period of time.

People without land to grow their own food are going to have a real hard time soon being able to afford what they need to buy in order to eat.

Living in a more rural community will also be safer. It is well past time to get out of the cities.

Having a farm matters. Being self-sufficient matters. Being able to help your loved ones survive in the times ahead matters.

No matter what you do, do your best at it and you will find that your efforts matter.
