G. House User ID: 43729699 United States 07/20/2013 07:25 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I used to live in Michigan which is rather temperate in the Winter time, mostly in the 20's, rarely below 10. Back in 1982 we had a week were it went down into the minus 30's with the wind blowing about 35 knots. THAT's friggen cold! Cold snaps happen. I wouldn't attribute them to oncoming doom. Just like someone was making a big deal about high temps in Alaska recently. But then I went back and checked and the highest temperature ever recorded in Alaska happened back in 1913. Now that's off the top of my head without checking but it was about a hundred years ago if you check. So... "Everybody lies." |

Outdoor fish pond in HOUSTON had like 1 inch of ice that I could walk on. Haven't seen anything like that since then. |
