His specialty was giving lectures to people who already believed what he was saying.

I've seen Kent Hovind debate college professors and he totally owns them! No sane person can and will argue for evolution because it's totally unscientific. They had to put away Hovind in jail, he is too good at what he does.

Anyone studying seriously the issue will understand that creation is the truth and evolution is a lie.

Kent Hovind gets a 10 year sentence for tax fraud, while your government literally burns up trillions of dollars...

But people don't want to hear the truth.

The God hating securests in G'ment probably went head hunting for Hovind just like our IRS went after the Tea Party and other conservative groups they foolishly considered 'enemies'.

I've watched complete Hovind lectures, I know what the man stands for and his arguments, not just some extracted snippets like this. I suggest you do too.

you are christian because you were surrounded by other christians growing up (most likely) that is the only reason you are christian. if you were in a country surrounded by muslims you would most likely be a muslim. if you deny this then.... you are far too ignorant

I was surrounded by atheists my whole life. Then something changed and I started to seek the truth with an open mind. That's all it takes, honestly seek the truth. I was well over 40 when I became a born again believer in Jesus Christ, and I was still surrounded by atheists.

well then you are the odd exception. if your family is christian you most likely would be christian. atheism is not a religion so you would not be brainwashed by anything, atheism is basically nothingness. since it is a lack of a belief. leaving you open to explore other things. but if you were in a christian family you would be pressured into being christian, not so with atheist families.

Peer pressure does not work on everyone Op. I am a Christian because the truth is important to me. Jesus told the truth.

Yep, there are some smart people out there that stand up for themselves from their christian families. there are many "coming out as an atheist" videos on youtube.

unfortunately most people don't have the courage to tell their parents, depends how brainwashed their family is.
