What I find a damned shame is that we have even come to this point in what used to be OUR country...

Why should they continue paying taxes for the whole of the nation? They cant use many places they pay for. Wall off your area, It does not have to be a physical wall, but that is a fine idea. But make sure you and your neighbors work together to keep riff raff out. You miss the point. You send your money in and it's all diverted, every cent is taken without diminishing your debt load or buying you any value in anything. That's why there is a national debt that grows every year and you cannot possibly pay it, but they expect payment nevertheless. You can pay, and they will take it all. You can not pay, and they will get mad. Either way, it works out the same.
