I make about $115,000. I paid $20,000 in taxes last year, and put $8,000 of MY money into a 401k so that I don't have to depend on YOUR tax dollars to pay my Socialist Security. Then I have a mortgage, bills, money set aside for my kids' college (again, so they won't have to depend on YOUR tax dollars in the form of loans or a grant).
