It's BLEACH like everyone has been telling you boneheads Hey, bonehead, might want to see what both the EPA and the CDC had to say in their in-house studies on the subject. Long story short, "chlorine dioxide is NOT BLEACH, it is an OXIDIZER". Says so right in one of the reports. Oh, and they also found it to be safe, so long as you are taking in adequate iodine in your diet. Read and learn how they are lying to the public, because MMS can put the pharmaceutical industry out of business: [link to www.atsdr.cdc.gov] [link to www.epa.gov] Not to mention the more than 100 products that are out on the shelves right now that you INGEST, including your drinking water, which already contain Chlorine dioxide, as approved by the FDA. And, guys, those of you who do want to try this, please follow the NEW protocol (find online at Jim Humble's website), where you get an 8-ounce glass bottle with a screw-on cap. On the first day, add only ONE DROP of activated MMS to 8 ounces of filtered water. Take in 8 divided doses throughout the day. Each day, add one more drop to the 8 ounces of filtered water, until you reach a total of 24 drops (for average adult weight). Remember, one bottle of 8 ounces of solution is broken up into eight divided doses, with at least one hour between each dose. Don't eat with the doses, either. One last thing...No vitamin C while taking this. It completely negates the MMS. And now I wait, for the onslaught of big pharma shills, because they have what seems to be a small army of paid naysayers and alarmists who can do nothing but scream, "It is bleach! It will kill you!". They search for any ongoing threads online about this subject and go full retard on the subject. Just watch. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 40385599 Canada 10/07/2013 11:03 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Remember that chia seeds are supposed to be taken with a restricted caloric intake. If you are eating chia seeds, which should only be 100% organic, then you should have cut your normal eating by half. If you are dumping them on your normal huge diet then you are a damn fool! Quoting: Anonymous Coward 23457427 With that said, I've been eating organic chia seeds in my smoothies and salads for about six months now. I feel like a million dollars and I've dropped a ton of weight. The primary benefit of chia seeds is to curb your hunger. They work because they expand. If you're eating them on top of regular meals then you need to research better and learn your lesson. this! |

My husband was a borderline type2 diabetic, and I fixed chia gel, made a pudding of sorts and he ate that for breakfast. I found the recipe from a raw food site. Unsweetened coco the powdered type for baking light agave syrup, and he was very content with that. He had no adverse side effects at all, he just got tried of it after about two months, and requested a change for breakfast. |

When everyone is talking about diarrhea? loose theory? “The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.” |

Then again, you can't really blame them, since morans in health food companies put unsoaked chia seeds in energy bars and other hard-to-digest crap. But traditionally, chia seeds were consumed after soaking them in water. You should use about 8 times the volume of water as the seeds, otherwise they will further expand in your digestive tract by pulling water out of your body and dehydrating you. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 29151138 There is a new drink that has chia in it. I wouldn't drink it because they are weird - like tapioca Look like frog eggs to me. Yuk! But friends imbibe fine. I prefer hemp seeds. very soft and small sesame type seed. great to sprinkle in yoghurt. Super food. Imported from Canada to healthfood stores. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 50853922 United Kingdom 12/01/2013 04:34 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | [youtube] I've been adding chia seed to my cereal for one week and have experienced a very severe reaction in the way of an itchy rash/hives all over my body but most especially my back. I'm in the process of drinking lots of water and having enemas to try to correct whatever the the little blighters have caused. By the way psyllium husks did exactly the same thing a few weeks ago....they both expand in water so perhaps this is the property that is to blame once it enters the gut. Looking forward to sleeping again soon:( |

Littlepixie User ID: 24757847 Australia 12/01/2013 07:32 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | And another. This SHIT is not being reported elsewhere. WTF: Quoting: TEOTWAIKI I had a horrible experience with chia seeds. I bought them at Costco a little over a month ago and started with putting a tablespoon into my spinach smoothies in the morning. I tolerated them fine for about a month, then suddenly had a horrible reaction. I had eaten a dry tablespoon of chia, followed by my dinner (grilled chicken and potatoes). After dinner, my stomach started burning, I started sweating, and I vomited. I then suffered diarrhea about (sometimes every 30 minutes) for the next two days. I stopped taking chia for a few days and tried it again with my morning smoothie. I suffered again with horrible diarrhea for the rest of the day. I took another couple days off chia and decided to try it in a pudding, soaked in almond milk and honey. I had horrible diarrhea again. That night when I was in bed, my stomach was burning so bad that it was hardly bearable. That was exactly a week ago and I will never touch chia again. My stomach still does not feel quite right but is slowly getting better. There is not a lot of information out there about the potential for negative effects of chia, and I have been a little worried about the possibility of an underlying condition causing the reactions. It is nice to see that I am not the only one who cannot tolerate chia seeds! Slippery elm powder(capsules) for several days will help to soothe your poor intestinal tract. I swear by the stuff for helping soothe my insides after a dose of food poisoning.
