IMO: Yes, very ambitious social climber, but who's to fault her? Any woman would be attracted to that status if given the chance, well, from her background, most, not all...you notice that some of the wealthy woman would rather pass on that "role" they want a life...they already have material goods, don't need the crown and all that entails to be happy. Too much publicity...Kate's now a "tool" for the royal family to sell to the public.
