And toothpaste. And the largest organ of your body is your skin and you bathe in it absorb it. Certainly, you will be tickled to know that canned goods have it and baked goods and even your chocolate chip cookies are loaded with it.

The real issue here is FREEDOM to control what is in your water. Who voted it OK for these pricks to introduce ANYTHING into water other than chlorine that is necessary to kill the bacteria.
If you are concerned about your babies teeth, go to walmart and buy some fluoride, dummy. Do not insist that I as an elderly person consume it too. Hell, most old folks lost their teeth already and fluoride really fucks up their old bones and make them brittle.

Has anyone ever, anywhere, seen or heard of a scientific study that demonstrates that ingesting fluoridated water is beneficial for teeth? Anyone? I really want to know, because I cannot find it. I hear often how it's 'harmless'...but I want to see proof of it's benefits. After all, many municipalities probably spend thousands or millions of dollars adding this to our water. We should know a reason why, other than "the government told us it was harmless."

How would we go about getting fluoride removed from our water supply? I see Queensland got a lot of it removed. I wouldn't mind starting a petition too get it removed once and for all. Evil stuff it is.

Topical application of fluoride may help prevent cavities, but it should not be ingested. It most certainly should not be added to drinking water.
