Riddle me this. Seeing as how Saturn is farther away from the sun than Earth is, how is Earth reflecting the light of the sun. Should the dark side of Earth not be facing Saturn?
Quoting: Anonymous Coward 41113334 Only if you were looking at the back side of the Earth and the Sun was in front of it in the picture. It appears that the picture is viewing Earth beside the sun at some point in its orbit. In that case it could be as much as 93 million miles away from the sun. Same way we can see Venus and Mercury.
